Somewhat hidden; perfect restaurant - Edit
This is an excellent vegetarian/vegan restaurant! We have tried several adresses in Malaga, but this was undoubtedly the best we found for dinner. Tasty food, freshly made, with excellent service.

Nice to try some tapas that you couldn’t of otherwise tried as it’s no vegan. The food was tasty and filling and was quite quick. The staff were friendly and spoke English and there is a separate vegan menu in English also.

We didn't reserve a table in advance. When we got there, the terrace was full. Inside were unoccupied tables. Still, the host put an extra table and chairs for us outside. Nice! The food was really good and cheap. We liked the host very much. This is a gem.

Ask for separate vegan menu - Edit
Restaurant is located in the touristy part of Malaga next to Alcazaba castle. Ask for the separate vegan menu. It was a bit disappointing that eg. the salad containing avocado was not on the vegan menu, it was only on the vegetarian one.
Read moreMy salad with fruits and corn was a good size. Hummus didn´t taste special. My companions had the Vegan Mix which is a plate full of many things. It is funny that they got a bit different things on their plates. There was a lot to eat on the vegan plate and they said that the taste was not special, it was a bit bland. Well, it can be so that Spanish food might be a bit bland.

Um ótimo ambiente com um menu só de opções veganas. Pedimos de entrada um prato de setas que estava delicioso e mixto de tapas veganos também muito bom. Minha amiga que não é vegetariana comeu um Tríptico de Massas Verdes que adorou. Ótima sangria!

It was quiet when I ate there and service was good. I had the vegan mixed combo and it was good. It had a small paella, different meat items, croquette type things, small salad, some veggies. Flavours were good, not great. Some things were tasty and some just salty! I would recommend this place.

Lovely restaurant on a quiet side street just across from El Pimpi. Lots of vegan choices - we went for the gazpacho and mixed tapas. Lots of very tasty food and gorgeous bread.

Decent vegan lunch and dinner/tapas options - Edit
Cute vegetarian spot on a side street next to the Alcazaba and Roman Theater. Great outdoor seating. Ample selection of vegan dishes, which the staff was happy to explain if it was unclear. As others have pointed out, the menu does feature meat substitutes, deep fried foods, and non-vegan items (this is Spain, after all.) However, I had a huge and satisfying dinner and avoided all of these things. I didn't find the food mind-blowing, but I did enjoy the hummus, sauteed mushrooms with smoked salt, vegan paella, and a perfectly acceptable sangria. I found the staff friendly and attentive. Vegan desserts were lacking from the menu, but Yummy Helados isn't far from here. I would eat here again.
