Fresh & yummy vegan options - Edit
El Torito has a small section of vegan & vegetarian options - much better than most Mexican restaurants! We tried the veggie enchiladas, vegan garden burrito, and a kids quesadilla with vegan cheese. Love that they have whole beans as a side option instead of just refried. Red and green vegan sauces. Everything was fresh & filling; didn't feel grossly full after. Quick meal too!

Amazing 5 stars - Edit
It won’t let me do 5 but the employees there are nice and they have 4-5 options and it’s not just salads or plain bean burrito. We got the chimichanga and enchilada plates (vegan style) and it was so good!!!

Good food, no understanding of vegan - Edit
OK, the food was really good and the service was great! Very attentive and friendly staff. But I can not base my rating on just that. My daughter and I ordered the street tacos and Vegan Burrito. A street taco option was breaded tofu. This was 1 piece of Gardein breaded chicken on the taco. It did not even cover the whole taco and was not cut up at all. That was a disappointment. The VEGAN burrito said it came with cheese (on the menu), so I asked for vegan cheese. The menu mentions that vegan cheese is an extra $2. So I asked what kind of cheese. She brought out the package and it was sliced Caio (plain). OK, that's fine. I don't really like Daiya so I wanted to make sure that would not be coating the inside of my burrito. Well, I didn't have to worry about that. There was 1 slice of the Caio cheese cut up into pieces and placed on top of the burrito. There was no Caio cheese inside my burrito at all. I was so excited to see a Mexican restaurant with vegan options but was very disappointed at the attempts. I won't be back.
