“Great Service, Great Food - kind souls - Edit
We were really in a pinch one evening and couldn't find any vegan food in our hotel or any restaurant close by. Everything was closing at 9 pm and it was 8 pm! We were hungry. Through happy cow we came across this restaurant being veg friendly - so we called them and asked them what time they closed, and they said 9:00 pm, so we hurried over there. When we got there, they said they were closing - it was only 8:20 pm, so we told them that we had called but they said they had no business so they had decided to close early. So I told them our situation on not being able to find any veggie food and asked them if they would make something for us "to go". Even though their chefs were getting ready to go home, they were kind enough to make a meal and it was good too - they didn't just throw something together. It was a costa rican typico with rice and beans, fried plantain, a really delicious salad, fried yucca, sauteed veggies - it was delicious! We were very grateful to them and it wasn't really reasonably priced too! We would recommend this place to all vegans - such kind and nice people!
