Awesome vegan options! - Edit
We had the shroom-warma and a soy-based beef style pitta. Both were excellent. The place itself is a super cosy little spot with about 3 tables and a great vibe.

AMAZING!!! - Edit
Loved this place, almost everything on the menu is vegan. The quality of the food was amazing and super delicious, I loved the mushroom shawarma, the soy meat one is also good. The staff is really kind. They also have yummy juices, I liked the pineapple and mint.

Almost everything on the menu is vegan, except for one meal. The Shroom-warma is fantastic, but everything else is nice too!

Super tasty Falafel & Hummus - Edit
The place has now changed locations to right around the block to a smaller spot due to the pandemic. The owner is very friendly and speaks perfect English. He is also a vegetarian. In my 30 years of being a vegetarian, I would say that this might be one of the best falafels I have ever had. The tahini and picante sauce are excellent

I love this place - Edit
This is absolute the most beautiful restaurant I have ever seeing. The service okay but not the most smiling. But the food was very nice and normal for vegetarians.

WHAT A FIASCO - Edit
Nice ambiente and nothing else.
Read more28 euros for two pineapple juices and two mushroom burgers that were dry and looked like pig greaves. Waiting time - 1 hour. No fantasy, no taste, no emotion. this whole place. First mistake in the New Year - may it be last one.
disgusting fries, and the presentation of the dish so attractive, that being drunk I would make better myself.
Worst venue in Santo Domingo so far !
Cons: Expensive, Tasteless , Super slow

Not worthy at all - Edit
First of all: this is not the place for a quick dinner. I had to wait for my food over an hour. The food itself was just bad. Dry and no taste. And expensive.

Delicious oriental food! - Edit
There are many vegetarian dishes like Falafel sandwiches, Hummus, sallads and Flatbreads and some are marked as vegan.
Read moreThere is an English menu but the staff only speaks Spanish. So apparently there is no vegan Falafel dish but if you speak Spanish you could probably ask them to switch/ditch the non-vegan ingredients.
But the vegan flatbread is to die for! It's topped with Basilpesto and fresh veggies and you get additional sauces to put on top (Tahini and a delicious but very spicy hot sauce).
Pros: Many vegetarian options , The vegan flatbread is just so good! , Nice ambience with beautiful patio
Cons: Serves meat , Staff speaks only little English, Not so many vegan options to choose

Most Lackluster Restaurant I Have Ever Been To - Edit
This restaurant may look really nice, but their food is the most lackluster food I have ever had. I ordered takeout from them, so I didn't get the nice ambiance. Instead what I got was a minimal amount of very lackluster food, with key ingredients missing. I ordered hummus and eggplant that were supposed to come with pita bread. They forgot to give me pita bread for with both. I also ordered falafel, of which I only got four, not even enough to dip in the dips I ordered. But worst of all, I ordered a green salad, and what I got was a huge amount of iceburg lettuce. Literally no other vegetables what so ever. Literally, just iceburg lettuce. Technically this does not even qualify as a salad, which they would know if they were actually trained chefs. But when you take the food out of the restaurant and all of its ambiance and presentation, you really get to see what it is you are paying for and what the quality really is. And the fact that they didn't even give me any pita bread, the main staple in Greek cuisine, that is what I was supposed to be eating my hummus and eggplant with, is about as bad as it gets. And it caused me to go to bed hungry that night, since I couldn't go back to the restaurant because they had closed. I tried to contact them about it, but never heard back. Apparently their customer service is as lackluster as their food.

Delicious falafel - Edit
I had dinner here a few times since there aren't not many other open restaurants late in the evening in the area offering vegan choices. In addition to that, their falafel is very, very tasty, one of the best I've ever tried. You can add some extras (stewed aubergine, hummus, and so on) to make it ever tastier. Some vegan starters are also available, like some varieties of hummus, salad, tipile (local name for taboulé), etc. which are also delicious. Not to mention their juices, absolutely refreshing and freshly made out of real fruits. The only con is their prices are a little bit above the local average. Tipile to share + falafel with some extras + juice is around 12€. Still affordable and worth paying for it, though. And the patio is really beautiful, BTW.

Delicious Falafel! - Edit
The patio here is gorgeous. Go on a clear evening so you can see the stars. Besides salad, the falafel is really the only vegan option on the menu. But that's all you need anyway. Load it up with the tahini and spicy sauce for the best meal you'll find in the Colonial Zone.

El Rey de falafal - Edit
Had a great meal here. The restaurant is tiered in nice settings with open terraces so don't go if it's likey to rain! The meals for 3 people including 3 alcoholic drinks was 500 pesos each including taxes. We shared the food which were all vegetarian but there are some meat options available incase you're dining with carnivores! I enjoyed the surrounds, the service average but food really great! Enjoy
