AMAZING

Ok so me and my boyfriend had the house juice (I think it was cantaloupe or something idk) but it was delicious AF, then he had the enchiladas(kind of small but definitely cheesy and delicious and came with sides), and I had the carnitas tacos which were sooooooooo good, and the portion for those was pretty big in my opinion. For desert we tried one of their pudding bread things and then ordered another because yes, that was also ridiculously delicious. All in all- we loved it and would come back if we passed through Texas again! Muchos besos!!!

Pros: Authentic, Amazing, Delicious

Always a must when in Dallas.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food with a vegan twist. Here is your place. They make all of their vegan soy items, salsas, cheese and tortillas in house and it's always delicious. I've had the chimichanga, tacos and nachos before all delicious

Pros: Everything is vegan

Cons: Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Yummy vegan lunch

We came for a late lunch. I ordered tacos $10.50 and got to mix and match 10 meats. I chose marinated fajitas, al pastor, bistec, longanisa. My favs were flavorful fajitas and al pastor, 4 tiny tacos beans and rice. PLENTY! Ken got loaded tacos $13.25 with extra jalapenos and carne guisada and lots more. Maggie liked the enchiladas. You can also bring in your own wine and beer. Definately will be back!!!

Fresh & Tasty

Everything tasted so fresh - fresh bread, fresh veggies & freshly made to order. Stephanie also cleaned off every salsa bottle before putting it on a tray. The tacos & torta were surprisingly (fake) meat-centric. I was hoping for more lettuce, tomato & onion on my torta, as the one slice lasted only a few bites of the generous sandwich.

Pros: Mmmm queso

Cons: I wanted more veggies!

I loved everything about this place from the moment I walked in. I am from Mexico and I am in love with this place. Best concha I have ever had (vegan and or not) and I had a tacos plate which was unbelievably good.

Pros: All vegan , Looks like real meat , Taste just like the real deal

Delicious authentic Mexican food

I saw mercy for animals do a segment about them so when I was in Dallas I had to give them a try. They were delicious. They heard we weren’t from the area so they stayed open a lil bit later so we could order more food for later

Pros: Hospitality

Great purpose in a location that needs it!

Missing Tex-mex food? This is the place. Lots of options. Not the healthiest - but who wants that everyday! The donuts looked amazing but we didn’t go for that.

Amazing vegan food!

I took my mom and aunt (who are not vegan) here for Mother’s Day. I am vegan and we all love Mexican food, so we decided to give it a try. We all LOVED it! The wait wasn’t long at all, the cashier answered all of our questions patiently and the food was absolutely amazing. The nachos ended up being our favorite. My only complaint is that I ordered 3 of the fruit drinks and the cashier didn’t disclose to me how large their cup size is; all three of us could have easily shared one drink, the size of the cup was insane.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Delicious food

Solid Vegan Option in Dallas

We've had several items on their menu. This time we had the Chicken Sandwich and the Nachos.

Both were good and both would feed two people easily.

$11 Chicken sandwich and Fries: is good, but I'd like more mayo. It is nice and crispy. It tastes a lot like a Wendy's chicken sandwich. No where does it state this sandwich comes with fries. I had asked for beans, unaware this came with fries. The cashier seemed disinterested in us most of the time. I wish she would have asked if I would have liked to sub the fries for beans.

$13.49 Nachos: Huge and pretty good. The vegan cheese smells better than it tastes. There is a good amount of options. I think I would prefer a different vegan protein crumble.

$4 Melon Fresca: Really delicious, but a bit pricey. I personally prefer the Jamaica.

They had paper straws which was awesome. We wish their cups would also be environmental. There are plastics made from corn aka plant plastics that can be purchased.

Chocolate sprinkle donut: not my favorite, a bit too bready. I've forgotten the price.

I wish their labels and descriptions would be clearer including pricing for baked goods. Their staff can sometimes be slow. Their location is not convenient and I hope they are able to expand soon.

Overall a great vegan option in Dallas, which has one of the lowest number of vegan restaurants for its size.

Pros: Portion sizes feed two people, Mostly all delicious, Paper straws

Cons: A bit pricey, Okay service, sometimes slow, Location (please add more locations)

Amazing tacos

I had their tacos at the Texas veggie fair. Waited about 45 minutes for the best 2 minutes of my tastebuds’ life. Living in Texas i have come to love Tex-mex. this is vegan Mexican food at its finest.

The mom and pop shop has exploded since going full on vegan. It’s quite good, the owners are friendly and the vegan community has been supportive of this great joint!

Pros: Vegan only restaurant that serves amazing food , Tacos and nachos the bomb, Great diversity of patrons

Cons: Wish they had more veggies, Bring back the borraco beans!

Favorite restaurant ever

Truly some of the best food I have ever had. I went with a non-vegan friend and she did not believe that the food was actually vegan. So so good.

Pros: Good value

Authentic Mexican Favorites

My wife and I occasionally make the long drive out to East Dallas to have some of the delicious Mexican favorites. Every time there is a line, but it moves fast and it's worth the wait. The chimichanga and tacos are fantastic. It's physically impossible to leave without loading up on baked treats.

OK

The menu was quite small. Not a lot of room for flexibility when there easily could be. Pretty much all the filling options are soy based. The food tasted good. Customer service wasn’t great. Wouldn’t be my first choice for vegan restaurants in the area but they have a nice selection of baked goods.

delicious, filling, friendly service

We loved our meal and my son loved the pastries. Wish we hadn’t waited so late in our trip to check this place out. Very clean and presents well. Great prices. Friendly staff and there seemed to be lots of happy regular customers eating there.

Pros: delicious, great price, friendly

Cons: only water option seemed to be plastic bottles, didn’t see recycling bins , a little off the beaten path for a short visit to

I can’t believe it took me so long to try this restaurant.

The tacos are delicious. I can’t get enough...then we tried the BBQ. OMG I can not believe that it is vegan. It is amazing. The people who work there are so helpful! Suzanna helped me place an order so I can bring my favorites up north with me this summer. You have to try it to believe it. Do yourself a favor and head over as soon as possible.

yummy meat-alternative carnitas!

This is a cute little gem, deli style place tucked away from the main street. They have a tight menu but many meat-alternative choices for your tacos, burritos, flautas and enchiladas. I chose a mix of four different plant-based proteins and they were al delicious. The bakery is all sweet-style breads and confections, as they only do savory for their commercial business but they are all gorgeous and hand-made! A great stop for lunch :)
