Nice enough - Edit
This is a fully vegetarian restaurant on a rooftop looking out over the sea.
Read moreI had the vegan burger which tasted mostly of bread. It comes with chips but barely. Probably about 10 chips total but they were nice.
The next day I had the veggie spring rolls which were tasty although very greasy.

Amazing OG Vege spot in El Nido - Edit
Seed was an amazing restaurant in El Nido and we were talking to the chef that’s been doing vegetarian and vegan options since 1995. Really cool dining, great music, great vibes, and a great view at the beach.

Great View of El Nido Beach/Bay - Edit
Ok! Menu is very small and some options you need to buy extra rice which I thought it was odd?! Overall they have ok options and food was good.

We had dinner here one night and we happily have gone back. The food was good, we had a lovely conversation with the owner, and it’s a great spot to watch the sun go down.

Lovely rooftop spot! - Edit
This is a great spot to watch the sunset with a drink and a vegan burger. The burger was really tasty and great to have some vegan comfort food! The menu doesn’t specify which items are vegan (its entirely veggie), so would be a case of enquiring. The Vegan burger and Vegan meat spring rolls are the only items that are clearly vegan. The menu is relatively small but all the items sound delicious. My boyfriend had the curried noodles (would need to check if vegan or just veggie) which he said was delicious!

Great little rooftop restaurant - Edit
Our first stop in El Nido right from the port. The rooftop view was awesome even at night, we ordered the noodles and burger both made vegan on request. The food was tasty but didn’t have enough depth for me to rate it 5 star. However out of the selection in el Nido of restaurants this is definitely higher on the lost compared to the others. Is recommended at least going once to try it out if only for the view!
Read moreI do have one problem, they may have not noticed they were doing it but one of the staff members stood staring at us eat the whole time we were there. It left us feeling a bit uncomfortable. But other than that great service.
Pros: Great location on the beach, Good selection - just ask for vegan.
Cons: Vegan/vegetarian tax

Really nice rooftop restaurant with so many veggie and vegan options. They also have happy hour with 2 for 1 cocktails. The tofu curry was delicious (you have to order rice separately) and the Indian fried ramen was great too.

Be Careful - - Edit
During my one week stay in El Nido , and 2 weeks in The Philippines, I have tried the different Vegan restaurants and until now , everything has been very god. At this place , Seed Dreams , I order the Toffu Curry and asked if it was vegan ? The first employee didn’t now so see had to ask another one who confirmed that they could make it vegan.
Read moreIt tasted a little bit “strange” but I thought that it properly just was the flavour of that dish ?
It was the only food I had that day and a couple of hours after I left the restaurant I got really sick with vomiting and stomach ache!
So either has it contains milk or the tofu was not fresh! something must have been wrong! So just make sure that it is vegan and fresh !

Vegan Burger delicious - Edit
I had the vegan burger several times. But the french fries as a side order of the burger, you can count them 😂. But anyway, not expensive and friendly stuff. They also have more vegan meals, which I did not try yet.

Amazing, we ate here every night! - Edit
Unsure if this is the right place to put this review as some of the pictures and menu items do not match what I experienced. It’s a cute rooftop place located up some stairs and past some hotel rooms.
Read moreEl nido has limited options for Vegans, I knew this before visiting. I loved the cafe taste for breakfast but was struggling to find a dinner place. I stumbled on this place after eating at the happiness bar next door.
The menu is varied and the staff were so helpful in explaining what was vegan and what could be made vegan - the chef even came out to speak to me. The service was great and quick and when it wasn’t they gave us a complimentary side.
The white pasta (coconut milk sauce) was my favourite, along with the spicy ramen.
They also have 2 for 1 at the time of posting this.
Pros: Lots of options , Friendly staff that remember you , AMAZING view of the bay
Cons: More expensive but it’s vegan so expected

Amazing place - Edit
We went here every day for a week. It is a Vegan and Vegetarian restaurant and some of the reviews on here are showing different images to what is actually there now. It is a roof top restaurant with a beautiful view of the beach and surroundings. The food is great and it is fairly obvious what is vegan and what is not I.e cheese is not going to be vegan and egg is not. The rest the chef says he can make certain dishes vegan. We had the Cream Pasta which he used coconut milk instead of dairy cream. Just make sure you mention to the waitress that you are vegan and all will be fine.

I really wanted to like this place - Edit
As one of the very few restaurants open in El Nido that is friendly towards vegans, I *really* wanted to like this place. The setting is wonderful- a beautiful rooftop. Outside the door (facing the street) is a giant sign that says "vegan" with the leaf logo - as a vegan, I was so happy to see this upon arriving to El Nido. We visited three times to try to give this place a fair shot:
Read moreFirst time: We asked the owner - "is everything vegan?" Yes, he answered, except the egg pizza special. He mentioned that he was a "part-time" vegan himself. So, we ordered the cheese sticks ,and marveled at how realistic they tasted. We also had the Pad See Ew (special) which was amazing. Sounds great, right? But I'm now certain that the cheese sticks were NOT vegan - next time we came we asked about the Filipino breakfast, only to find out that none of those items were vegan, as they all were egg-based (omelettes, etc.). It turns out much of their menu contains dairy and eggs, there are no clear markings as to what is vegan and what is not. The sign outside blaring "VEGAN" is rather misleading in this respect (in fairness, below that it says "and vegetarian" but this is obscured by bushes and other signage).
Second time: Being careful to stick to vegan options, we ordered the vegan spring rolls and the vegan burgers. The filling on the spring rolls was rather strange tasting - there were no discernable veggies, tofu, etc, only a weird brown goo with an unusual flavor. The vegan burgers were even worse - the buns were HUGE, stale, and not toasted. The only sauce was LOTs of ketchup, but this did not go with the burger, which tasted *very* strongly of cumin. There were very few fries. Quite a disappointing meal.
Third time: We decided to give the place one last chance, and informed the owner of our concerns the second time (they said they had a new chef). We ordered eggplant sticks as appetizers - these had no seasoning on the breading and so had a pleasant texture but were largely tasteless. The owner said the sizzling tofu was supposed to be like sisig, and while it had a nice flavor, it was basically just tofu (very little onion, etc.). The spaghetti "bolognese" was a huge disappointment: It wasn't "bolognese" but spaghetti and meatballs, with an overly-sweet red sauce and cumin-heavy meatballs that did not go with the rest of the dish.
So overall, I can't really recommend this place to vegans except as a last resort.
Pros: Willing to accomodate vegans with many options, Nice setting
Cons: Not all vegan (but might tell you otherwise), Vegan options not clerarly marked on menu, Poor quality food
