Decent - Edit
4 vegan options on the menu but they didn’t have the pizza when I went. I got the bowl instead and had to add a good amount of salsas to it to make it taste like something but it ended up being good. The server said the produce was locally grown. You can see the ocean from some of the tables ☺️

Multiple Solid Vegan Options - Edit
I’ve been skeptical in many places I’ve eaten and been very trusting of the employees assuring me that things are vegan. I didn’t have to wonder here. Menu is clearly labeled with 4 vegan options. My fiancé and I split the vegan pizza and the vegan burger. The pizza came with mushrooms, tomatoes, and a ton of oregano. We enjoyed the pizza very much. The vegan burger actually was more like 2 thick slices of tofurkey deli meat. It came with ketchup and a bean mousse on the side. I also enjoyed the burger but be aware that it is not a traditional burger. Ambiance is also great and they opened earlier than most restaurants for lunch. We were there closer to 11:30am and they were open.

not worth it - Edit
only one vegan salad one the menu, plus vegetarian pasta or rice. was not bad but had no taste and i was still hungry afterwards. 17$ for noodles are too pricy. but nice location.

Great for late Sunday night! - Edit
Nothing much open on a Sunday night so after searching we decided on this place. Service was excellent and atmosphere perfect for where we were. Not many vegan options - salad, one sushi plate and vegetable spaghetti. Salad was. Ice, sushi okay and the final was edible but not very flavourful. So it worked but there are better option. 2 for one drinks helped!

3 vegan options - Edit
The tofu salad was mixed - fresh vegetables but the tofu was bland and tested like oil. At least there was tofu in the menu! They also have a mushroom and tofu soup. The third vegan dish is vegetarian rice (no protein source).

Don't come there - Edit
The food was ok, but the service was awful. They gave me soup with shrimp after I told them I want the vegan dish. More over they couldn't tell the difference between vegan and gluten free.

Great find!! - Edit
I went to Santa Cruz with a group as the only vegan and this place was like a beacon of light for me after days of plain veggies and rice (which is fine, but I couldn’t wait to be full again!) I had the pesto pasta and it was delicious- service was great too!

Friendly, good food in place with no great options - Edit
It's great that their menu indicates 2 vegan options. Puerto Ayora lacks good vegan options, and the restaurants tend to be really expensive.
Read moreThis place has good food and friendly service. They know what "vegan" means and offer menus in English if you need them.
I got the falafel plate, and my wife got a quinoa bowl. Both were good but not life-altering in any manner.
Pros: Friendly, Know what vegan is
Cons: Serves meat, Expensive

Go for the vegan dinner options - Edit
We enjoyed our dinner here, ordering a delicious quinoa, veg and basil soup, yummy Ecuadorian veg curry with patacones and veg tacos. The tacos actually tasted really nice but were too thin and fell apart due to the wet salad filling. That particular item was also quite pricey for what it was.
Read moreWe came back at lunch time and found a different menu. It was more limited in options, having only a falafel plate and quinoa curry. There was a burger too but was disappointed to be told that the bread had egg in it. I didn't really enjoy the taste of the food on the lunch menu. Both the hummus and the curry had an unusual flavor. I hope it was vegan.

Restaurant offers several options marked clearly as vegan such as salat, quinoa, ceviche and more. We went two times and both we were satisfied enough. The waiters were very pleasant and prices affordable. Also, they provide a good wifi connection.

Cute spot, limited Vegan options - Edit
I had a falafel burger and asked for their vegan pesto instead of the Mayo. It was still unfortunately a bit bland. We were pleasantly surprised that the lunch prices were less than what was advertised on the menu.

Lots of Options - Edit
Great place for dinner...went there twice and had a perfect seat on the upper level overlooking the harbor and had some very good dinners. A lot of vegetarian options, fast service and ice cold drinks. Also the menu was coded to describe if the dishes were vegan, gluten free...and included about 10 other dietary restrictions. This place runs like a tight ship. Well thought out across the board :)

Vegan pizza - Edit
The pizza base is made without milk so we ordered a veggie pizza without cheese (and corn).

expensive and not much options - Edit
This place is good if you have non vegan friends that are bored of going out with you because you are vegan. Also good for people with allergies, as every thing is declared. However if you are a group of vegans, this spot has only about three options but you can also order veganized vegetarian dishes. I ordered pasta napolitana without cheese. Nevertheless they decided to bring me a bowl of cheese apart of the pasta. They bring chips as appetizers for free and non vegan bread with each dish. However I found the price for a plate of pasta (15$) definitely too high, also because the sauce was not tasty and had a consistency of ketchup.

vegan/veg items clearly marked - Edit
Came here for my friends 40th birthday dinner with 3 vegans/vegetarians and 1 pescatarian in the group. Vegan/Vegetarian options are clearly marked on their large menu. They care about the environment. There is ice cream and a bar on the ground floor.

We tried their "urban quinoa soup" that is vegan, and requested that their veggie curry be slightly adapted to be vegan. Unfortunately, both were extremely bland and are nothing to write home about.
