Incredible delicious (food & ambiance) - Edit
As someone who loves to cook it is always a pleasure to feel the love and intention through meals at restaurants. I throughly enjoyed every bite here & I will most definitely be coming back. We got the red curry soup & bean stew vegan chocolate avocado dessert. All were 10/10 couldn’t recommend enough.

We came back for lunch & dinner once again. Ordered the vegetarian margarita pizza the cabbage with mash potatoes. It was amazing food no disappointment here.

So nice to have a whole planr-based menu here. Emphasis on veggies and they taste way better than expected. A whole ice cream menu for dessert! Breakfast had an excellent French toast. My kids enjoyed vegan hot chocolates. My only recommendation would be to add more vegan items to the kids menu.

Garden Eating Friendly! - Edit
El Jardin was extremely accommodating to our vegetarian needs with a fully vegetarian menu with multiple vegan options. The red curry was really tasty, with a fascinating use of avocado, and the pumpkin agnolotti was incredibly tasty. We ended the evening with the tres leches cake which was phenomenal and drizzled with a passion fruit reduction.

Excellent service in a beautiful location - Edit
The service here is stellar. We went here multiple times while eating in the resort, and we had at least one of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Plant based menu available by request, and the options are good.
Read moreI had the "typical" breakfast without eggs or cheese to make it vegan. My husband had the pancakes made vegan. Soy milk was available for coffee by request.
Lunch and dinner were really good also. Plenty of vegan options, especially if you don't have any food allergies. I'm gluten free with a sesame allergy, and I still managed to eat well — just be sure to communicate with your server.

Fine dining with a vegan menu - Edit
We loved el jardin, having not found anywhere fully vegan in Monte verde it was a nice surprise to go to a fairly fancy restaurant and be presented with a separate vegan menu. Good options and really delicious food. It’s a lovely setting too they had live music when we were there. Would recommend
