Serves meat, vegan options available. Cozy small bar/bistro serving tropical juices, fresh salads and vegetables like avocado and pimientos and vegan soup like gazpacho. Does offer a small choice of snacks with meat or cheese. As of October 2015, it's hard to find any vegan or vegetarian food in the old town of Habana. Nostalgic atmosphere.

Nice food - Edit
The place is ok, I had very tasty gazpacho there which I definitely recommend. But it is so overpriced - forget about main dish for less than 10$, about 2x price I usually pay in tourist restaurants in this country. Plus tax.

Great food - Edit
Bit on the expensive side for Cuba (and they charge a bad exchange rate, so bring pesos). But the food is very good! We came here twice during our 6 days in Havana. Lovely atmosphere and the guacamole is one of the best we have ever had. Some vegan options. The pasta arrabiata is quite spicy. (It is a place aimed at tourists, but we don't mind if the execution is done right)

Favourite in Havana - Edit
They have a few vegetarian options as well as vegan tacos. The food is relatively good for Cuban standards, as is the coffee.

One of my favourites in Havana - Edit
All veggie pastas are vegan without cheese. Especially aglio y olio is tasty! Veggie tacos are vegan and delicious. Great drinks and lovely place.

Fancy juices - Edit
We stopped here twice for drinks. They have nice juices, such as beetroot, pineapple, and ginger. My partner enjoyed the coffee. We noticed they have black bean tacos available. Good location in Plaza del Cristo in old Havana.

Really Expensive But Good Food - Edit
We ate at El Dandy three times while in Havana, because we were staying nearby, and because it has a pleasant situation on Plaza del Christo. As vegans, we were only able to eat two things: the tacos and the gazpacho soup, and they were quite good. But for that and two coffees our bill came to 30 CUCs, almost exactly 30 GBP. And they had the gall to add a 12% service charge. Also El Dandy is a smoker's paradise: we went in once to find that people were smoking at all five tables while eating. Truly disgusting.
Read morePros: Pleasant situation on the Plaza.
Cons: Very expensive indeed for a cafe., Encourages smoking in the restaurant area.

Art, music and good food and cocktails - Edit
Great vibe, it’s a small art gallery where you eat and drink in. We had vegan tacos, buchetta, olives, banana chips, sweet potato fries. The fries came with aolie but you can change it for ketchup and mustard. Great cocktailbar as well!!!
