Supermercado ecologico El Cambio is an organic market that stocks a wide variety of foods and goods. Find vegan, raw, gluten-free, and health products together with known brands of certified organic skin care and personal hygiene products. Among the selection are vegan cheeses, plant milks, kombucha, chocolates, snacks, fresh fruits and vegetables, tofu, mock meats, nutritional supplements and vitamins, shampoo, baby foods, home cooking and pantry items. Bulk bins offer organic beans, seeds, nuts, and lentils. Est. 2019 in a restored building in the historic centre near the Wine Museum. Previously fully veg but introduced animal products August 2022. Open Mon-Sat 09:30-21:00.

Found a few little gems in this place - Edit
As others have mentioned, this is not a 100% vegan place, however, it’s still a great store. We managed to find a whole host of violife products we couldn’t find in the supermarket as well as ichoc (vegan chocolate), some eco friendly and vegan household products and they stock a huge range of “vegan meat” products including the Beyond Meat range.

I used to love coming here. But recently the owners have changed, and no one who used to work there works there anymore. The staff used to be friendly. Now they make me feel unwelcome in the store.
Read moreIt has become a really expesive and unfriendly place. They also went from vegan to pescetarian, now selling fish, eggs and dairy. Highly disappointed. Used to be a regular customer. Now I don't come here anymore and have heard similar from other people. I don't often write negative reviews and do not take it lightly. So I feel sad to write this here. There are plenty of other bio shops in Malaga, so if you can, visit a different place.

Read moreIt has several large chiller compartments with a wide selection of vegan cheeses, tofu, vegan meats and sausages, yoghurts and the like. There's a freezer cabinet too, with frozen burgers, sausages etc.
We went there for the food but there's also a lot of dried pulses, and a big range of organic skincare products.
Pros: Full of stuff you won't find in the supermarkets

Read moreI have been visiting their shop on a regular basis for over 3 years. It was great to go without looking at labels like we are all used to. Unfortunately, it is no longer the case. Keep looking at labels there because they sell a few dairy products as well. I was/felt tricked when buying puffed rice cakes with milk chocolate topping. I let the shop know (no excuse nor refund, well I guess it's my fault for trusting) and suggested it was flagged as "non vegan" product (at least they took it into account). The cashier justified it as an error from the provider but now they keep selling it... Last time I've been I saw Goat milk bottles... Very disappointing, but it is what it is... Still great products, just don't label it as 100% vegan store because it's not, and it's misleading.

Little gem in the city centre - Edit
Finding vegan substitutes in supermarkets has proven to be quite challenging here in Malaga. This shop has a variety of vegan cheese (mostly Violife), sliced meat, and various chorizos. It also sells empanadas and pastries. The caprese empanada is to die for. They are sold at 2.50€ each.

The best vegan supermarket I've been to - Edit
We absolutely LOVED this place whilst in Malaga- their selection is amazing, both fresh products like cheese/croquettes and fake meats but the real star was the tortilla! We had one a day it was so good. It's reasonably priced and has an incredible variety of vegan goodies, literally we went in just to look around a few times because we saw something new and exciting each time! Would highly recommend to any vegans travelling to Malaga who don't want to eat out for every meal.

I live in Málaga, and unfortunantely, supemarkets don't have huge variety of vegan food such as yoghurt, cheese, mock meat and so on, so we're so lucky to have this little shop. I love the atmosphere too. Literally anything you might need they have, and the staff are very nice as well.
