Muy Bueno - Edit
El Cabo is incredible! The service is top-tier. Their Dorado de Papas is exquisite! I get it every single time I got and friends have commented on my excitement for this order. They also turned me into a loved of quinoa and refried black beans. Never thought I’d see the day. #Veganuary

Best veg option in Shreveport - Edit
I spent a week in Shreveport for work and pretty much survived off of oatmeal, peanut butter, and french fries except for the night that my team went here! The sweet potato enchiladas were amazing and there were 3 dishes that were veg that could be made vegan.

Very flavorful - Edit
This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in the city. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Best guac I’ve ever had - hands down. Next time I’ll have to try their sweet potato enchiladas. Also, the server was very knowledgeable and helped us customize to vegan. She informed us that the rice is not vegan due to chicken broth, but vegans can eat the quinoa here.

Best Vegan Mexican in SHV!!! - Edit
I am a San Diegan transplanted in Shreveport and this is hands down the best Mexican in Shreveport. The food is fresh, has real authentic fresh flavors, and is just so delicious. Would recommend this place 100 million times over!! The salsa verde is perfectly authentic and the hibiscus tea is scrumptious.

Always Good - Edit
Great option for authentic cuisine. Chef Gabrial has trained his staff to know what is in the food and how to cater to vegans. The kitchen is completely gluten free! They locally source as much as they can and make their own tortillas in house.

Great option for Shreveport - Edit
I have had a very delicious meal the two times I have visited El Cabo Verde. Vegetarian/veganizable items are very clearly marked on the menu. It was refreshing and a relief to see the word vegan on the menu because that means they know what it means. The vegetable tacos include cactus which was very interesting. The food was fresh and the atmosphere is very inviting. I can't wait to go back!
