Great vegan options - Edit
I live near El Burro and I love having a vegan-friendly option nearby. I always appreciate when a restaurant actually tries with their vegan options, instead of just removing meat from a meal and charging the same price. El Burro has a separate vegan menu with tacos and burritos. My favorite is the chile rellano burrito, because it's unique! It's a fried pepper filled with vegan chorizo, rice, and refried beans. El Burro also reduces the price of their vegan taco trio on Mondays (for Meatless Monday!). They sometimes have other vegan options too--like they just started serving vegan nachos and they have a veg option of their pozole.

The other review about shared prep areas making food not vegan is nonsense but the food here is not good. Unseasoned, undercooked, brown guacamole, vegan options that just involve removing half the ingredients, rude staff. Skip it.

Idk i really liked it. There is a huge vegan menu. Not everything is fried so u don't have to deal with the "fryer" if u don't want to. Also I'm not out to punish myself, and it's good food next to the movies in a meaty heavy area. Good guac, hot sauce, clubber service, margaritas, potato tacos

Very pleased with nearly everything at El Burro. Great service (extra great, actually!), love the decor from local artist, and the food was pretty well done, as well as an entirely vegan/vegetarian menu.
Read moreIn the area on vacation and saw this place as a good option to feed the whole family (from vegan to carnivore). They serve perfectly sized burritos, tapas-style tacos, and even taco salads (the "flying saucer," add vegan chorizo and avocado salad, thank me later).
Overall meal for 4 came to about $40 with tip so not going to break the bank. The portions were very large, in the burrito realm. My dish, the flying sauce was the perfect size too for a hungry vegan.
They have sides of salsa, lots of options for all, and do a darn good job of making their customers happy. Highly recommend!
