Very kind and accommodating staff adapted a salad for me to vegan and gluten free. Also worth stopping for coffee.

Used to be excellent, now it's mediocre. - Edit
Stroom used to have a great menu where almost all items were vegan or could be made vegan with vegan feta or tempeh. Also for very good prices. Last year this place changed owners and they standardised the menu with less vegan options and prices increased a lot. No more vegan feta and tempeh as toppings. The vegan gado gado sandwich/wrap/salad is also not on the menu anymore, which was my vegan favourite. It's still a nice and cosy place to sit, but the choice of meals and the quality has degraded.

Imagine you are in Berlin and you stop by a restaurant next to an elevated metro? Well, this is the place that gave me the same vibe. We had a wrap and a salad bowl, and the soup of the day. Food was nice, especially the peanut sauce in both wrap and salad bowl. Some vegan options. Service was nice and fast.

Read moreIts behind Velperpoort trainstation, so if youre walking by you might not spot it. They have a cute menu with delicious light options. A bit quiet but worth a visit!

Nice cozy atmosphere, good staff and very good food. The chef puts alot of passion in the dishes she serves. I've eaten twice at stroom now and will be coming here again. My, favorite is the vegan gado gado bowl.
