Leuk idee zo'n treinstel maar het eten is erg wisselend. Voorgerechten klein maar wel erg lekker.
Read moreBij de hoofdgerechten lijkt de presentatie belangrijker dan de smaak en textuur van het eten zelf. Zowel de vegan als niet vegan gerechten. Beide niet slecht maar ook niet echt goed.
Voorgerechten kwamen na 5 minuten waardoor je toch niet echt ontspannen aan je etentje begint.

Cons: Smaak en textuur van de gerechten, Tijdslot.

Great place in a set of classy old train carriages! My vegan stew ("stoofpot") was delightful, nicely presented, and with a clever aquafaba-mayo-ish dressing that brought a great contrast to the dish. Everything seems well thought out, and what's more, this place is handy, just next to the main train station!

Wat een gezellig plekje, in de treinwagon gegeten terwijl buiten de regen met bakken uit de hemel kwam. Meerdere vegetarische en veganistische opties op het menu. De meergranen bol met gegrilde groenten en noten pesto was heerlijk.

For lunch, there are not a lot of options, but those are good. We tried the worker's lunch and stew which were both quite tasty. We were only disappointed that we were still served the egg for the worker's lunch in the vegan variation. The lemon ice tea is good, you might need to give it a mix before drinking as the sugar bundled up at the bottom. Location is unique but it can get quite loud in the lounge even with only few people.

Eetbar de Wagon serves really good, non-standard vegan options. Really liked the melon sashimi and the peanut cheesecake (which, in reality, was more of a peanut mousse). Will definitely visit again when in Tilburg!

Hele leuke locatie. Reserveren is wel aan te raden. Redelijk wat vegan opties, dus dat is fijn. Wij waren er voor lunch, maar willen zeker nog eens terug komen voor een diner. #Veganuary

Good restaurant near the station, that’s literally situated in an old and restored railroad car. De Wagon serves meat and fish, but each course on the menu has at least two outstanding plant-based options. Recommended if you’re looking for a place to go eat with people that are not (yet) vegetarian.

we went there for some drinks and vegan snacks. the atmosphere in the old wagon is awesome and there are some vegan snacks and dinner/lunch options.

Heerlijk en leuk zitten - Edit
De vegan opties zijn heerlijk. Net wat specialer dan een ‘gewoon’ restaurant, bijpassende wijn wordt door de sommelier goed uitgekozen. De bediening is erg betrokken en vertelt goed wat er op je bord ligt. Ook de bekleding en ambiance zijn heel gezellig en leuk, zeker een aanrader!!
