Hearty brunch in Clifton - Edit
We were glad we had worked up an appetite by walking up the hill from Bristol because our brunch was generously proportioned. They did offer to pack up any leftovers for us to take away, but there weren't any! My other half had the Eden English and I had the breakfast burrito; these seemed fairly similar in content though obviously the presentation was different. I sometimes feel ill after eating a fry-up but was fine on this occasion so it was all probably fairly healthy - there wasn't any imitation meat involved which is fine by me. I was also excited by my blue tea (green tea with raspberries and pea flowers, I think). Service was friendly - order at the counter and it's delivered to your table.

Wonderful food and staff - Edit
Vegan food done so well that this café would have no problem packing them in where we live (a not so vegan part of of Shropshire). We came back the next day for more breakfast and bought our evening meal as a takeaway as well.
Read moreBetween us, we had a kebab, Mexican Burrito, 2 variations of the Eden Breakfast, the Reuben, Prawn Marie Rose and the loaded cheese / porky bits plus Coconut Matcha to drink (lovely). This was spread out over 3 meals, not all at once!
The staff made a fuss of our dog too and gave her treats to help with her nervousness.
If the owners ever do a crowdfunder to open a branch in Ludlow, we'll be first to contribute.
Pros: All vegan, Excellent variety of dishes, Dog friendly

Lovely 100% vegan cafe! - Edit
So nice to find 100% vegan places :)
Read moreLovely decor and atmosphere, and really friendly staff. Seemed genuinely interested in what you thought of the food. Food was so tasty and well presented. So much to choose from on the menu, including puddings and cocktails! We had the Eden English and the Life-Changing Burger, which was served in a flatbread. Recommended and would definitely return to try something else next time we’re in town.

Had the breakfast burrito (split it) and the faux eggs and cheese was spot on. Also had the chocolate cake with ice cream and a piece of banana bread with fixings to go - all super moist and delicious. Will definitely go back.

Vegan afternoon tea - Edit
We went for vegan afternoon tea for my husband’s birthday. The food was really tasty (‘prawn’ cocktail, coronation chickpea sandwich, scones, jam & clotted cream (nut based), brownie bites & two other cakes) and quite unique. We also got some cocktails. It came with unlimited teas and these were of good quality. I wouldn’t give it 5 stars as I don’t think it represented great value for money (£50 to share a sandwich and some tiny cakes etc) & there wasn’t much of an atmosphere. I would probably recommend you go for tea and cake instead #Veganuary

Flawless experience - Edit
Visited for breakfast and received the most wonderful experience from this innovative, independent eatery with an insane level of attention to detail.
Read moreI have recently visited a few 100% plant based restaurants/cafes and the standard is so high (especially in Bristol) but this is the best.
We had the scrambled tofu on sourdough, breakfast burrito along with some lattes and smoothies. Perfectly balanced and seasoned food with a clear eye for detail. Thoughtful menu as a whole. Drinks were perfect. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Decor ambient. Prices fair. A truly joyous experience.
Thank you Eden café we’ll see you next time.
Pros: High quality food and drink, Friendly and attentive staff, Relaxed, comfortable atmosphere

Solid gold vegan cafe - Edit
One of only a handful of 100% plant based establishments in BS8.
Read moreEden really stands out due to its modern, vegan and ethical take on some classic savoury and sweet dishes.
Though I've only been the one time for cakes, it comes highly recommended.
No doubt I will endeavour to visit Eden more frequently.

A hidden gem! - Edit
My husband and I made a special trip into Bristol just to have lunch at this cafe as it sounded so good! I must say, it did not disappoint! Every item we ordered was fantastic. I had the last toasted rueben sandwich (it’s very popular!) and I can see why! They make their own Seitan (as well as cakes etc) and it is clear that there is so much love poured into every ingredient. My husband had the chocolate chilli and loved it! Then we shared a scone with homemade clotted cream and jam. The scone was the best I had ever had and the cream was TO DIE FOR. I also ordered a Matcha coconut latte and it was so scrumptious! My husband had a flat white which was also perfectly made. We got a salted caramel brownie take away so we could have some dessert on returning to Watford & it was just as tasty as everything else! What I love about this place is that it is completely family run (mother, daughter, son) and it’s clear they are so passionate about what they do. They were chatty, friendly and helpful and I’m glad I live so far away, otherwise I would spend all my money here! It’s worth going in just for the warm welcome you receive. Beware though, the extra work that goes into making plant based meals means that you’ll pay a little more than your average cafe. Also, it’s dog friendly in the bar area!

Delish soft serve - Edit
Have visited twice so far, and very impressed both times. Both favours of soft serve deluxe were lush, the choc brownie was my fave. I also tried the carrot cake smoothie (a special) which genuinely tasted like carrot cake batter, the quiche special (quiche + 2 sides), pizza bread and cherry frangipane, all of which were delish. The quiche stood out particularly with a fab flavour and texture. The owners are also super lovely and the interior is gorgeous, definitely recommend visiting.

Amazing menu - Edit
Eden has an amazing and extensive menu as well as lovely owners. With options from deluxe soft serve to homemade seitan sandwiches, you’ll be spoilt for choice. The ackee and tofu quiche was a particular highlight and Eden is even on too good to go so food waste is limited. Can’t recommend them enough
