Why haven't I been here before? - Edit
Went here to eat dinner with a friend, and it's clear they're mainly doing take away. There were a few seats, though, and the staff is so sweet and friendly. The food was amazing, and their Vietnamese iced tea gorgeous. Yum, yum, yummy, yum!

The best vegan take away in oslo❤️ - Edit
The dishes are delicious, and the staff are super enthusiastic about Vietnamese food - veganized. Its possible to eat there, but its quite small so I would say its mostly for ordering/take away.

Best Vegan Restaurant in Oslo - Edit
This is without doubt the best vegan restaurant in Oslo. It's small but has a lot of options on the menu.
Read moreI had:
The Banh Mi: Bread Roll, BBQ Soy, char siu sauce, cha lua, herbs, cashew, coriander, chilli, and veg. Requested it medium but can also get spicy.
Fried Spring Rolls: Cabbage, Carrot, Soy, glass noodles, and bamboo shoots. Served with sweet and sour sauce.
The atmosphere and staff are also warm and welcoming, definitely check it out
Pros: Lots of options, Great food with great flavours , Staff are so warm and welcoming
Cons: Very small

Very Happy - Edit
We took out noodle soups and dumplings for four. Ordered through their website and picked it up to near-by workplace. Everyone were happy, quality was excellent. Spicy soup was spicy but not impossible.

re-visit 6 months later: still the best vegan in Oslo, absolutely stellar quality and taste. We were lucky enough to have a table and my friend was mindblown how tasty it was.

Great vegan takeaway! - Edit
We ordered from Wolt, so unfortunately we did not get to see the place. The fried rice and spring rolls were so good! We highly recommend it for takeaway, and we will definitely come back!

I've only had take away from this place, but I really love it. Especially all the starters, their banh mi and the vegan prawn crackers - yuuuum. Would absolutely recommend! ✨

Everything amazing - Edit
We had three dishes, and they were all amazing. The staff is extremely nice, and lots of the food is homemade, food that usually is not when you visit vietnamese restaurants. Great experience.

Happy Eating - Edit
Visited EatHappy during our visit to Oslo in July 2022. Ordered the Vegan "beef" Wok, Dumpling soup, fried wontons, and the fried spring rolls. Outstanding meal. The vegan "Beef" wok was delicious - a little spicy/hot for a someone from Boston MA USA , but nevertheless, nothing was left over. The wife enjoyed the Dumpling soup. The wontons and spring rolls were just made to perfection. Perfect portions for hungry tourist. Highly recommended.

Best Bahn Mi in town - Edit
I’ve had Bahn Mi’s from Eathappy Vegan multiple times, also work work events, and I love the taste! I’ve tried a couple of the different types, and all of them contains exciting sauce and protein. Compared to tiger Bahn Mi restaurant in Oslo, this is hands down the best I’ve tasted. Recommended for both vegans and non-vegans alike!

Good food - Edit
I got the Bahn Mi and asked to get it without coriander but it was added anyway, probably because the place was quite busy and they were getting a lot of orders. Apart from that the staff was very friendly and it wasn't too expensive.

Great authentic flavors - Edit
I always prioritize Vietnamese vegan places where possible as this was my fav cuisine prior to going vegan. EatHappy Vegan did not disappoint! I had the no.22 Bun bi cha gio. It was superb! The soy steak was seasoned amazingly, the spring roll was super delicious and the helpings of noodle, onion, etc were generous and flavorful. They even had a mix of rice noodle and a bean thread noodle cooked differently - extra points! As noted by others it was served on disposable plate and I missed having a big bowl to mix the sauce and the other elements together but this is a minor thing and the plate was perfectly serviceable. Hope to have an opportunity to try something else on the menu while here.
