Yummy vegan food

We had the cauliflower wings as a starter to share and a Mexican and Masala Burger. The cauliflower wings were the best we ve ever had and the burgers were very good. Great beverages (most of all the ice coffee).

Pros: 100% Vegan restaurant

Small but good fresh food

This restaurand offers very fresh tasty and light food exactly great for a climate of Mauritius. We came there twice, always got out satisfied. Price is little bit higher, but as they have all food very fresh and they are quite unique for the area, it is understandable.

Loved this place!

Loved this place we ate here twice. The lemon piccata was one of the best vegan dishes I have ever had - the taste was incredible. Also had the waffles for breakfast...fabulous. Great, classy place highly recommend. Great smoothies too.

Loved this place!

We went to this restaurant a couple of times during our 5 day stay in the area and absolutely loved it! Everything we tried was delicious with the oyster mushroom picata being my personal highlight. Very generous servings and great juices also.

Pros: Totally vegan and lots of options!, Reasonable priced and very generous servings

Great place

We were very happy to come across this restaurant in Mauritius. The only restaurant that advertise themselves as fully vegan. The food was amazing, we will definitely be returning. Highly suggested to visit while in Mauritius.

Pros: Flavour, Cosiness, Location

Finally great vegan food in Mauritius

This cafe has a friendly ambiance with the owners speaking fluent English, French, and German. The cafe is located on a main road only kilometers from the main resorts in the North. The menu is small but very good. I had the falafel bowl and chocolate pancakes and both were excellent. Highly recommended.

Review update: Since my first review they have improved their menu and have lots of tasty options, including a delicious veggie burger.

Hello,
Thanks a lot for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed what we propose and love the ambiance.
For the alcohol, we are what we call a snack in Mauritius which means we are not allowed to sell them. It's another type of administrative request and this will also limit our opening hours as far as we understood. For the menu, we add new and remove every week but the falafel stays as our "mascot". We prefer to keep it small and focus on the quality than the quantity.
Hope to see you again. Thanks again for sharing your opinion with us, it helps us to improve.
Best,
Geraldine.

Must-go restaurant

I was so happy that an all-vegan restaurant opened in Mauritius, and I'm not disappointed at all !

I didn't try everything the menu but everything seems delicious.

I highly recommend the eggplant lasagna with lentil-bolognese sauce, topped with a ricotta that just tasted exactly like the real thing. And the whole dish was just so good.

The desserts and the smoothies are also amazing.

The café is bright, welcoming and very modern. The staff is really friendly, and their suggestions are very useful.

I rated it 5 stars, but honestly, if there were a sixth star available, I would not hesitate !

Pros: Food taste amazing, Refreshing smoothies

Cons: Far from where I lived :(

amazing vegan food

Simply amazing! Who would have thought that we find a real vegan restaurant in Mauritius!? Incredible delicious vegan food, everything prepared with lots of love! They offer breakfast, lunch and different snacks in a stylish and air-conditioned place even with parking places in front. Our tip: Visit Eatwithfingers for a late lunch after 2/3 pm (then it is less crowded). Our favorite: Vegballs Bolognese Zoodles! A must go if you are in Mauritius and you like vegan or simply healthy clean food! We will come back very soon

Pros: delicious and 100 % vegan

Great place!

This is definitely our favorite place in Mauritius. We’ve been here 3 times in 4 days... Everything was freshly made and the staff is very friendly. Gluten free options are available (lots), and they serve Club-Mate!

Pro-tip: try the lasagne.

Pros: Great staff, Fresh and delicious food, Gluten free options

Cute vegan cafe in Mauritius

This is a cute vegan cafe in Mauritius with a trendy atmosphere. It serves a lot of breakfast/brunch-type foods. I tried the pancakes and nice cream which were great. It's about the same price range as you would pay in a Western country, since it's in a tourist area. Getting there by foot from the beach at Grand Baie can be tricky since it requires crossing a big road with no sidewalk.

Also, this place does take credit cards as of November 2017.

Must visit in Mauritius

I had breakfast here (yummy pancakes and smoothies!) while on a work trip in Mauritius. This place is a life saver if you are vegan here! The food was delicious, friendly service and the cafe is very cute. Easy to walk to from the centre of Grand Bay but there is also parking.

It’s almost impossible to find genuinely vegan places to eat here so make sure you check this place out.
