I forgot what it was like to have options! - Edit
Being fairly new to a plant based diet (around 6 months), and not having tried many exclusively vegan restaurants and only eating out with non plant based friends, I had forgotten what it was like to have so many options on a menu! I was crippled for choice and found it hard to decide between so many amazing sounding options! I settled for the salt and chilli tofu and I was not dissapointed! Really tasty lunch and super friendly staff will make me want to go back again and again until I try the whole menu! I was so full that I didnt even get a chance to try some of their tasty looking desserts

Treat Street - Edit
I've only eaten here once. Saturday evening. I had the (tofu) fish and chips. I thought it was amazing. It was served with salad garnish, mushy peas, lemon slice and tartare sauce. My company thought it was a bit salty and it is fried so not so healthy. There was a rice dish on the menu and a champ dish which may suit us better in the future. Really great that the establishment is 100% vegan. Lots of interesting looking puddings and drinks but I was too full to try them. Will definitely be back. Friendly small restaurant. BYOB. Candles. Interesting tables with pictures of local landmarks. I tried visiting on a weekday for lunch but could not get parked in the area!

The best dedicated sit down vegan restaurant in Belfast - Edit
Eat Street has been one of the best additions to the vegan scene in Belfast for years! All vegan with a wide ranging menu which changes seasonally, they now also offer a buffet at weekends in addition to their normal menu. They are BYO and all corkage goes to a different animal charity every month. I love to bring my non vegan friends who are always amazed at the quality and variety of food - we always clean our plates and leave very full and happy. The only problem is I am always too full for dessert :P

Don't miss this one! - Edit
I wish we were spending more time in Belfast only to come back here and try more of the menu! The burger I got was amazing, and the fries were to die for. I also enjoyed the kombucha with my meal. We weren't expecting the atmosphere we walked into (probably dismayed because their credit card machines were down, so we had to search for an ATM and we were only passing through and didn't want to have to get pounds when we had been using euros) but I'm glad we persevered because the FOOD, omg. So good!

I came with 2 kids - one pretty fussy - and they obligingly catered for us. Burger and chips were great - Mac &Cheese connoisseur kid loved it and fussy kid got a ciabatta with tomato (and even a few chips as a bonus side) - great experience.

Really innovative vegan food that never disappoints - Edit
Absolutely love visiting Eat Street for a big meal or a treat. They have so many options and absolutely everything I've tried has been delicious. However, while there are so many things on the menu and daily specials that I want to try, I somehow always end up going back to the NYC burger because it's just to die for. And the brie burger they had at Christmas was even better!
Read moreCoffees are also really good there, cupcakes are always great and the desserts are super innovative and indulgent. My favourite had to be the Christmas pudding ice-cream or baked alaska!
There's always a relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant and staff are always friendly, smiling and chatty which I love to see! The restaurant also really values customer feedback and always takes new ideas on board which is super refreshing.
My only slight issue would be that the menu is a little pricey but definitely worth going for a treat here and there!
Also just a side note - I've ordered take away from here and I don't think the food travels so well. It was still good but just not the same as when dining in the restaurant, so I'd much rather save my NYC burger cravings for a time I can sit-in.

There’s no words that could describe how fantastic the food is there. Everything you eat is freshly handmade from their burger rolls to their ketchup. You definitely get what you paid for. Couldn’t ask for a better place to eat at.

Vegan Heaven In Belfast! - Edit
We celebrated a family birthday here last Saturday night, there was five of us , two vegans and the rest are all meat eaters
Read moreFrom the moment of arrival I knew we were somewhere special, nice relaxed ambience, low level music and an aroma of good food! There is a great selection on the menu, so hard to choose what to get. We all opted for different starters and mains, I had the ‘fishcakes’ with kimchi, other starters were salted tofu and a selection of dips, the staff in Eat Street are friendly, and service was very efficient and attentive. For Main Course I opted for the pappardelle pasta with sage butter, it tasted so good and combined with the butternut squash in the dish made for a rich and satisfying main, it was served with garlic bread on the side. Another dish I tried was ‘beef’ Dauphin’ serious comfort food ! Also on offer was ‘Tofish’ and chips, the portions of all dishes were generous and you can bring your own wine. There was 3 courses for £25 so we all got desserts (something different for everyone) There was lemon meringue, a vegan sundae, almond bakewell, chia pudding all amazing and beautifully presented plus great coffee too ! I have been in a lot of veggie and vegan restaurants all over the world, and this little place would put a lot of them to shame, the chef here really knows what tastes good and how to present it well, long may it last!
We are already planning a return visit
Pros: Lovely atmosphere, Music not too loud, Food tastes great

My partner and I stopped here today for lunch. Our server was super prompt and friendly. Not only did the food taste amazing, but it was super filling too which I wasn’t expecting for a lunch time menu. 😊 I would definitely recommend the chocolate and coconut cake / torte served there for anyone with a sweet tooth too! 🍫 it was delicious!
