Really good food. Hearty and comforting and yummy. I ordered the vegan platter for 2 and it could have easily fed 4!

Delicious Caribbean goodness - Edit
Absolutely delicious, but I found it quite expensive for the serving size, and the service was quite unfriendly. The food was very good though.

Eat of Eden - Edit
Extremely delicious Caribbean food! We ordered the vegan feast for two and we’re so pleased with the food. My favorite was the vegan mac & cheese, which was prepared the old school way (and I would argue a much better way) simply using nutritional yeast, oils, and spices. I would definitely eat here again! The staff were incredibly kind/friendly too.

Not as good as Hammersmith - Edit
A nice, filling, wholesome meal. Service was great, and I love the menu, but it just wasn’t as tasty as when I visited the Hammersmith branch

The food is fine but not worth putting up with the lack of customer care - Edit
The main thing really would be a base line of customer service. The folk working here are really unhappy, not communicative or helpful, and sometime outright rude.

The food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back again! Rated it 5* even though I was given 1 dumpling instead of 2 😂

TERRIBLE! - Edit
I would not eat at this place again or recommend anyone to eat here.
Read moreWe spent £54 for a platter meal and 2 desserts, when our order arrived to say it was a complete disaster is an understatement one of the desserts was missing, the plantain was fried beyond oblivion and swimming in oil, the ackee slushy and saturated in oil also. As for the the sweet potato and pumpkin curry they may as well have emptied Cow And Gate baby food into the container as we could not distinguish the potatoes from the pumpkin. The fried dumplings were crushed like someone used them as a stress ball, as for the fritters, they were over fried, flavourless and full of oil. Macaroni pie? More like macaroni scrap the bottom of the tray. Everything was mixed in, the grains should be served together, how can you place dishes mixed in together and not separated and call it a platter?
We rang the restaurant to make a complaint and was met with a very rude and incompetent member of staff, we had to repeat our concerns several times before he suggested a refund. When asked for confirmation that we would receive our refund he said he didn't know how to do that, really? He forwarded us to a management who wasn't much help and spoke in a very repetitive montone manner like an automated recording.
At present we are still waiting for our refund.
I only gave a rating because this site gives you no choice.
Cons: The food , The service , Conflict resolution

Literally some of the best food ive ever had in my life - Edit
I got a too good to go so I’m not really sure what was in my bowl to be honest. But there was a chickpea stew, some mushrooms, some grains, some stewed greens, some plantain and some seitan I think and honestly the seitan? i got home and just ate it all stood up at the kitchen counter. The sauce on it was amazing!!!! I also got a patty in my bag which was YUM. Plus the portion size was absolutely massive - I am soooo happy right now #Veganuary

Freshly homemade Caribbean food - Edit
I had the mini platter, which has 5 items to choose and it's enough food for one. The items I chose were macaroni pie (my absolute favourite!), mushrooms, fritter, chickpea curry and black rice. They also gave me a dumpling for free, which was nice and greasy.
Read moreWhat I love about this place is how fresh the food feels, like if your grandma had made it, but with the Caribbean twist of unusual ingredients (ackee, black rice or plantain) and flavours. The prices are also very reasonable, so that's a plus. I'd love it if they had more space or more seating indoors to have a nice meal instead of eat and go. I suppose I need to check their other branches but this is the closest to me!
In summary, a Caribbean vegan flare that will surprise you with unique flavours and a very homemade feel. I would definitely go back!
Pros: Macaroni pie! ❤️❤️, Homemade feel
Cons: Lack of indoors seating area
