My wife and I went here numerous times during our 8 day stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every single thing we ordered was amazing! Super laid back, comfortable environment. Watch out for those chickens! Lol

Food very good..... service awful - Edit
The food is very good, wonderful and tasty. Not your usual just a salad, some very interesting foods on the menu.
Read moreSadly the service was awful. First having to wait to be seated when there were lots of empty tables. The server was not helpful at all, he just spoiled the whole experience of being there. Maybe he was having a bad day :-(
Pros: Great food choices
Cons: Chickens eating off the tables, Serving staff on this day had some attitude.

Great food! - Edit
Ate here 3 times on a recent trip to Kauai - nice easy walk from our resort. So good to find some healthy delicious plant based options.
Read moreA little bit pricey and some serves are quite small - don’t order the oats if you want a filling breakfast - my husband said he had a coffee in a bigger cup! Smoothies are good, really liked the tofu scramble. The summer rolls made a nice light lunch.
Service is very relaxed! Don’t be in a rush. Strangely we had to wait for ages to be seated, and then realized there were hardly any other customers.
Wild chickens make for a fun dining experience!
Pros: Lots of options, Great smoothies
Cons: Very “relaxed” service, A bit pricey

Casual eating and good breakfast foods - Edit
Went a little after the opened and it was getting full. They had a lot of options and variety of options on the menu for breakfast (which I loved). I had a cold brew smoothie and a “eggs” Benedict. I loved both of them. It is a more relaxed dinning experience (you are in Hawaii after all). I will come back and eat here again before I leave. Prices were fine for locally sourced products on Hawaii. Everything is going to a little more on the islands, but I found the prices to be the same as what I would get at a local vegan place on the mainland).

Amazing food - Edit
This place is a must if you come to Kauai. First I should tell you that a lot of places in Kauai advertise “vegan” options, but very deceiving- unless you eat salad ALL the time. On the other hand, this place is genuine, tasty, all vegan. Everything I tried on the menu is absolutely delicious! This is our go to place when in Kauai.

Good food and a cute place but the server was surly and seemed to resent being there. Perhaps a bit overpriced but it is in a touristy spot after all.

Only vegan restaurant on Kauai, as of April 2018, and worth your time - Edit
Kauai vegan food tends to be relatively simple and uncomplicated in ingredients and flavors. That’s not a bad thing! But it may leave some folks looking for more sophisticated vegan food. That’s where Eat Healthy comes in! The chef comes from NYC’s Cinnamon Snail, which I absolutely love, so I was excited to try this place.
Read moreWe went for dinner and brunch. Both times the service was super. Highlights were the tofu katsu, the meatballs in the red sauce pasta dish, and the banana nut pancakes. They forgot my latte one time and ended up giving it to me for free, which I truly appreciated as I had to wolf it down before heading to my next destination. The food is delicious and on par with the nicer vegan spots I’m used to in LA! Wish I could have tried the quiche but it was sold out both times I visited.
It’s already a wonderful place. But wanted to mention two potential areas for improvement, in case the owners have time to take a look.
First was the birds/chickens trying desperately to eat our food. It’s depressing to see them addicted to “people food,” and the table next to me had some fruit stolen right off their plate by a particularly aggressive bird. It just swooped onto their table while they were eating. If this happened to me, I wouldn’t want to finish my plate in case it had bird germs.
Eat Healthy gives you a water bottle to spray at them, but they’ve learned some creative techniques to get food from patrons. I know an outdoor restaurant on Kauai is obviously going to have “natural” forces present, but I just wish they could solve for this somehow. I had trouble relaxing and enjoying my food after seeing how aggressive the birds were. Just wanted to get out of their as quickly as possible.
Second, the bathroom situation can leave a bit to be desired in busy times. There’s one (pseudo outdoor) bathroom and it requires a key. At lunch, there was a long line of people trying to get in, and it was pretty dirty inside, due to the back to back use.
Overall, I absolutely love the food here and think it’s a major upgrade for the island’s vegan food section! I can’t wait to come back for another vacation and eat here, and “eat healthy,” again.
Pros: Food, Service
Cons: Hungry birds, Bathrooms

Almost 5 stars.. - Edit
There are not many vegan places in Kauai and this is one of them. We both ordered the tofu scramble platter. I got sausage and pesto and she got pinto beans and chipotle creme. Mine was tasty and my wife's was bland. It's served with white rice. It seems like a small portion for $15 but it was surprisingly filling. We also had blueberry turnover which I liked a lot but she didn't. Worth a visit if you're vegan. The chickens are fun but be careful or they'll snatch your food!

Great place - Edit
My husband and I stayed on Kauai for holidays. Unfortunately at the day before we went to Maui we discovered this place. We would have definitely come more often if we would have known. Anyway, the place looks really great and the staff ist friendly. The food is beyond delicious. My husband and I shares the summer rolls as a starter and I had the tofu sandwich. Unfortunately they had no more desserts, so no experiences on that. Maybe this can be interesting for you, on Tuesday they are often out of desserts. I can absolutely recommend this place, you will definitely find something that meets your taste.

200,000% awesome. Large serving sizes, plenty of choices, nice setting, friendly, warm, fun staff.
Read moreWe’ve tried their smoothies, scrambles, wraps, pancakes, açaí bowls, bagels (breakfast), as well as one of the pasta and curry dishes* for dinner; all were yummy, all measure up to any vegan food we’ve had at home (Oakland, CA, a vegan food haven) and around the world.
Like a 6-minute walk from our hotel (Aston Islander on the Beach), so the quality and distance meant we dined here 4 times in 5 days/4 nights. And we would DEF eat here again had we stayed longer.
Pros: Lots of 100% vegan options, Large portions, Can accommodate all sorts of dietary restrictions
Cons: Pricey if yr not familiar w/Kauai, But, c’mon, they’re a freakin’ island, You know they have to import stuff!

My wife and I ate here sometimes twice a day on our stay in Lihue. Everything we had was delicious. The breakfast, all day, and dinner menu items we had were all excellent. Stuffed mushrooms, Katsu tofu, Thai peanut tofu, Tex Mex Benedict, Mac pancakes, penne with meatballs all excellent. Come with patience as it’s one server and a small kitchen.

Best food on Kaua'i!! - Edit
The best place for vegan food on Kaua'i by far! The seating is all outside in a gorgeous back garden with palms and succulents and a wonderful breeze. The food was all flavourful and delicious and my only regret is that I wasn't able to eat here more often when visiting Kaua'i.

Wish we’d come here day one - Edit
We went for dinner last night, and even though we are staying in a different town, came back for brunch this morning, and have agreed to go back to dinner tomorrow, the last night of our stay here in Kaua’i. The food was excellent, the ambience was super comfortable, and the covered outdoor seating kept us sheltered from the rain. Between our two visits we tried 8 main dishes, two starters, and a turnover. Everything was delicious and demolished pretty quickly. Our favorites so far were the BLT, the tofu sandwich, and the Tex-Mex Benedict. Lots of fun drinks to choose from and my teen loved his Thai iced tea with a sugarcane stirrer.

Amazing! - Edit
We took the family out for lunch here and everyone really enjoyed it. The breakfast pancakes and scramble were really good. The only thing we didn't like was the coffee smoothie. The coffee was like raw and not really blended which made it too strong. Also the service is really slow, so don't go in a hurry. The brownie and chocolate chip cookies were really good too. Small portion on the scramble and every thing is pretty expensive but worth it for the wholesome and handmade food. Nothing prepared here. Fresh food and lovely patio seating under the Sleeping giant mountain.

This place is a lovely vegan Oasis! Food was delicious and lots of variety. Tofu scramble over greens with Chipotle sauce was kickin, and paired with banana nut pancakes you can't go wrong. Service was super friendly but not necessarily fast. Lovely view of Sleeping Giant from their outdoor seating area. We are definitely coming back to try the entire menu!
