A good meal, wish there were more dessert options - Edit
They had the classic vegan menu meals, curry, hamburgers, karaage etc. The meals were tasty and a good portion size. I also had the banana chai cake which was okay, but their non vegan desserts looked much more appetizing so that was a bit disappointed.

Excellent food around Narita - Edit
Japan is improving. A while ago there was simply no vegetarian food at all at Nartia airport. Lately, some of the existing restaurants offer limited vegetarian options. And if you manage to communicate it, you may even get a vegan meal out of them.
Read moreBut there is an alternative! At about 20 minutes driving from Narita is the Easy Life Cafe. It's easy to find and has (free) parking right in front of the restaurant. On the outside it advertises itself as a coffee place, but in fact it is a serious vegetarian restaurant (much is in fact vegan). They even have a little shop to buy vegan noodles and fresh ingredients for your home cooking. Easy Life offers indoor seating (living room style) and outdoor seating.
The menu (in English and Japanese) ranges from burgers to rice bowls and even steamed vegetables. We ordered the burger and it was excellent. Like it should be with a burger: the many layers made for a great combination. The burger was very easy to eat, yet much more lasting than a fast food burger. We also ordered the cutlets (comparable to the famous Japanese "tonkatsu"), which were different from the pattee on the burger.
The steamed vegetables were also great. A nice selection of vegetables, steamed to make them easy to eat. Miso paste was served on the side to dip. For some reason we were also served with a plate of lettuce and tomato, although we didn't remember ordering it. Perhaps it came as standard with every meal?
Pros: free, on-site parking, wide selection menu, fair prices
Cons: difficult to reach without a car

A VEGAN MUST! - Edit
The cafe is less than 2km from Narita station and it is a must to visit, especially for vegetarian and vegan travellers! They have plenty of options. Workers here are also able to speak a certain degree of English too, which helped us for our ordering requests. I’ll miss this place! Tasty food! The grilled tofu burger was amazing. I ate one two days in a row. Delicious!

Cons: Not in my home country!!! I’ll miss this place!
