Not many good vegetarian options on the buffet - Edit
I had the buffet at the East India Grill. There were not many vegetarian options on the buffet as compared to other Indian restaurants (and I've eaten at Indian buffets across the entire United States). The veg options that were available were lackluster. They did have several dessert options (including mango soft-serve) but I didn't go there for the desserts - I wanted a good lunch! This is not the worst Indian restaurant I've eaten at, but definitely in the lower third. I would not eat here again.
Had to get out of the I-5 traffic after a Mariners game and came upon this place via the happy cow app. What a GEM!!! Extremely helpful staff that knows exactly what a vegan is and eats. Had the Chana Masala and Roti and it was the best I have ever had!!! I enjoy food from India and have a couple of go to places where I live but this was a notch higher in taste and presentation! I’ll be back!!!
I LOVE their buffet. Its small but about half of it is veggetarian. They got this mango ice cream and a mango cake thing but I'm not sure if its made from dairy. The naan (flat bread) is delicious but again, I'm not sure if its made from dairy.
the waitress really helped out and knew what was what. i ordered a non-vegan dish they turned vegan by using coconut milk vs dairy. also, they do have a bread option that is vegan. i was amazed at how good it was.
Very clean and yummy. I found that the only vegan options were the two dishes that happy cow explains. I liked my food a lot and I even got some good bread on the side.
