I got the Tempeh Scramble w/ Potatoes. While the presentation is lack-luster, the food and service is very good. It’s evident that they do put thought into their vegan items. I really appreciate this spot. #Veganuary

Amazing service, great brunch spot - Edit
Becoming vegan I’ve found it hard to order food at local brunch/diner places. East End Eatery always has a great set menu for vegan food and vegan specials to keep things interesting. Service has always gone above and beyond to make sure my girlfriend and I are satisfied :)

Awesome for families - Edit
We love taking our family here as they have awesome vegan options for me, vegetarian for my husband and my parents are meat eaters. Plus, a kids play area near the table to keep my kiddos happy while We eat. Sunday brunch is our favorite. Tempeh scramble is A! I also wanted to comment on the service as someone mentioned it was bad. I have eaten here many times and never had a bad experience with service. It’s a small family owned and run business and everyone has always been super knowledgeable.

Worst service in Gainesville - Edit
Nobody knew the menu, charged us different prices for everything, gave us the wrong menus and then got mad when we wanted what we ordered when they didn’t tell us until after we ordered and had been there for an hour that we had wrong menus. Told us ice coffee had free refills so I ordered it and then once I had it told me there were no free refills. The woman charged me the wrong amount at the end of the meal. The waitress told us she was “new” after messing everything up and that’s fine and dandy but if you’re giving wrong menus and don’t know if refills are included then FIND OUT or be SHADOWING another server.

Honestly after the hour wait the food was fine and I would have maybe eaten the small portion if the service wasn’t SO AWFUL.
