Tasty & fresh, not for pure vegans

I had the fried tofu taco, the one menu item listed as vegan, but when I inquired, I was told it’s fried in the same oil as animal meat. There’s more flexible options for vegetarians, as opposed to vegans.

Pros: Vegetarian options by requesting to omit items. , Tasty fast food. , Casual, cute atmosphere & cool Mexican decor.

Cons: No 💯 % pure vegan menu items, despite claim., Same oil used for frying animal meat., Not handicap accessible.

Ask questions!

Vegans beware, they fry the tofu for the “vegan” taco with fish. I asked and they said they grill the veggies separately from meat and the rice and beans were vegan friendly. I had 2 veggie soft corn tacos without cheese made into a platter (served with rice and beans) and guacamole. Overall okay experience and okay food.

Pros: Vegan friendly food

Cons: Cross contamination

Burritos for all

Restaurant has several vegan/vegetarian options: burritos, tacos, enchiladas, etc. But they will also happily make ingredient substitutions when requested if anything is not to your taste.

Don't be afraid to ask for a little heat too!

Tasty!

The chips and salsa are fresh and delicious, and the grilled vegetables tacos without cheese are satisfying. While the vegan options aren't extremely extensive, my vegetarian friend had a lot of options to choose from. The restaurant has super neat decor, and the service is quick. I would definitely revist.
