Great place for breakfast but not only. We had Greek omelette and sandwich, both very tasty and satisfying - we were full. The owner was really nice and welcoming.

I feel bad for writing this review because the staff was so very kind and lovely, but we came after seeing all the raving reviews, and honestly- I have no idea how. Only people who never had good vegan omelet in their life, would say the omlete there was good.

The coffee was mediocre at best.
The juice was good though.

Kleine Auswahl aber ein sehr gutes Erlebnis. Der Laden ist ein richtiges lokales Erlebnis, Mittags fanden sich auf einmal Stück für Stück ein Dutzend Leute aus der Nachbarschaft ein und unterhielten sich lebhaft. Griechisches Omelette, Säfte und Kaffe waren alle toll. Ein Saft mit Apfel und Zimt der top Tipp!

Best vegan breakfast in Athens - Edit
The food is excellent every time it has many pies to choose from. The coffee is really good and served with a smile😊. It also have a variety of refreshments and other food choices (must try tempeh handmade falafel🤯). They also deliver via Wolt. Highly recommended.

Got a Greek style omelette (made with chickpea flour) and it was a flavour explosion with mushrooms, black olives, green pepper, onion and crumbled “feta” over the top. Would definitely eat this again. They also had a wide selection of vegan pies so got a couple for the road as haven’t seen vegan options like these before!

We went here for breakfast after a long walk and arrived just as Nikos was opening for the day. He was very cheerful and friendly and told us about how the neighborhood folks were so amazed that his food was vegan - they couldn't believe it wasn't made the "traditional" way. Indeed, his handmade pies were simply delicious, and the cold-pressed juice was just what we needed! As we ate, we chatted with the people at the next table, who were from the neighborhood. They said that they didn't care that the food was vegan - it was delicious and that was all that mattered.

We went here for lunch as the grades for Early Bites on Happy Cow seemed to indicate a high level establishment. The place isn’t bad but it’s far from deserving a 5, the meal was okay but nothing special.

After a long night bus ride and a rather challenging walk through Athens in the earliest morning hours, we came to Early Bites five minutes after he opened. The waiter welcomed us in a very heartwarming manner and brought us delicious coffee and fresh orange juice. Later, we had great vegan meals. It's a great place to get some refreshments. Since there is no aircon and only a few places to sit (only outside) it might be too hot on very hot days during the day, but for the early morning it was great!

Read moreWe had the greek style vegan omelettes and they were incredible, the vegan feta is amazing and better than the dairy stuff in both flavour and how it crumbles.
We also tried the vegan chicken and vegan cheese pies and they were excellent, the pastry was perfect.
The owner is also incredibly friendly and accommodating, we were visiting during the 40° heatwave and the owner brought us out some of the homemade lemonade with ice to keep us cool. We tried the orange juice on our first visit too and it's delicious and fresh, highly recommend.
Overall a must-visit if you want some vegan lunch/brunch!

The products are excellent, many of them handmade, delicious and healthy, due to the careful selection of pure ingredients and of course the complete lack of animal products. Nikos, the owner, is a very communicative and friendly person with knowledge and experience in the vegan field. Although a new shop, it seems to have exceeded all positive predictions, which is easily justified by the above. After all, what do people want? A little courtesy, a hearty smile and honest products, delicious and healthy. Early Bites offers all this generously, so we have every reason to visit and visit again.
