Delicious Tofu Sushi Tacos

Came here for a pre-dinner drink and snack. Ordered the tofu sushi tacos that I have seen on Instagam. I thought "Oh that looks beautiful but will it actually taste that good?" The hype is real and so delicious! There is a perilla leaf at the bottom of the taco to bring a minty flavor, then a savory sweet soy sauce, soft but well flavored tofu, well seasoned rice, topped with a spicy mayo that actually has a kick of heat and microgreens. Wrapped in rice paper for the taco shell. A very delicious snack!

Solid dinner option

Good space with ample seating. Even though my partner and I got there in the evening when it was packed, we were able to grab two seats at the bar and order our food there (full service bar). They have a separate plant based section of the menu with good options. Crispy tofu zen bowl and my partner the Mother Earth bowl, both were great. Cocktails are also quite nice.

Tasty but pricey

The food was good but very expensive. The impossible burger was filling but I cannot imagine the rolls being filling as a meal.

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan options

Cons: Expensive

Plant based menu items were not great

I ordered the vegan Hunan kung Pao. I just got the plain vegetable version no added tofu. But it was $15 for pretty much 2 cups of white rice with only a bit of stir fried veggies on top. I might as well have ordered Chinese takeout and saved some money. The buffalo cauliflower with vegan ranch was good. But they batter and deep fry it. If you're into that. They do have a plant based vegan friendly section on the menu which makes ordering easy but from the two things I ordered they just didn't seem well thought out. Just their normal food with things removed.

Pros: Plant based section on menu

Cons: Expensive

Great place for mixed eaters and special occasions

This is a great choice when you want to go somewhere a bit more upscale and/or are dining with mixed eaters. There is a plant based section on the menu. Between everyone in the family, we have tried most of the vegan items and they were all fresh and tasty. We added tofu to a couple of items that did not include it. Also worth mentioning are their daily and weekly drink specials, you can usually get some sort of nice coctail for just $5.
