Dylan’s - Criccieth - Edit
We visited the Dylan’s in Criccieth, and had a really good meal. Several vegan options. I had lentil ragu which came with vegan mozzarella and it was delicious. Also had vegan cheesy garlic bread, really good.

Nice Locations, Few Options Available - Edit
Dylan's has three restaurants in North West Wales (Menai Bridge, Llandudno, and Criccieth), and the menus are the same in each location. There are a handful of vegan mains available, including a burger, a poke bowl, and tacos. Garlic bread and mixed olives are available as vegan starters, and there are no vegan dessert options. Despite this, the food is consistently delicious, and I particularly enjoy their poke bowl.

Limited choice - Edit
A really popular and busy restaurant with good food and a great view. I’ve been several times with friends and family and it would be nice to see them add more vegan items to the menu.

Just been to Dylan’s again and the choice was even more limited I’m afraid. Gone was the seitan katsu curry. I had vegan tacos which were ok.

Lovely restaurant, lovely food! - Edit
This restaurant was so cute and the food we had was insanely good!!! The servers were very friendly too. Only downside is that it’s very expensive, so it’s a nice treat.

Good options - Edit
Had the vegan katsu and the poke bowl. They were both very good, the poke bowl was fresh and yummy. It was very busy and we had to wait for a table, so booking in advance may be best.

Not enough vegan options - Edit
I agree with other reviewers, the food here is of very high quality, but there are very few options for vegans unfortunately, they could easily add a couple more
Read moreWe had the seitan Katsu curry which was amazing, a really solid portion size too, and vegan garlic bread with tomato and mozzarella (this was undistinguishable from a 🍕)
Pros: High quality food, Great views , Friendly staff
Cons: Not enough options

Great Food / Not Enough Choices - Edit
I had the Vegan bao buns and Karsu Seitan and yes it was gorgeous and I love that they have incorporated vegan Asian style food.
Read moreI'd love a wider range of options or at least make it clearer.
Yes it's expensive but I think my meals were worth it.

Not a lot of vegan choices - Edit
Literally a couple of options with a vegan bowl (nice and tasty) and a vegan burger. Supply and demand I suppose but they could do with a few more vegan options on the menu. There are quite a few options for veggies.

Great choice but still not enough variety - expensive for what you get. - Edit
We went for lunch. I have been a few times over the years both as a meat eater and vegan. I had the VG chicken in a basket the first time as a vegan but you get THREE strips of seitan for £14. Not worth it at all.
Read moreThis time I went I had the VG tacos, roasted sweet potato. The tacos came out and were served cold. I’ve read a few reviews and everyone else has had them cold too so I assume this is how they’re served but in opinion they should be warm. I mean roasted sweet potato implies it’s going to be warm! The sauce on the tacos wasn’t too great, it was like a version of the Nando’s vegan perinaise but not as good. The other half had garlic bread and liked it!
Next up the burgers, I had the generic VG meaty one, which I’ll admit, I can make much better at home! I couldn’t even taste the relish or Mayo it said was on it, I even lifted the bun to check.
The other half said his seitan burger was nice. Unfortunately the chips aren’t homemade chunky chips like they used to be. They taste more like frozen ones, which sucks because they used to be my favourite thing about Dylans!
The two tacos cost me £7.95 which was a small. I thought they’d make a good starter but I felt they were expensive for what they were. The burgers cost £13/£14 which I thought was expensive for what they are.
The staff need to learn to bring out salt and vinegar as standard when there are chips. They do ask if you fancy any sauces but the fact the salt and vinegar isn’t on the table is silly to me?
Our meal with two starters and two burgers, one coke and one appletiser came to £45.
Expensive for what it is. People say oh it’s where it is… but I live in Red Wharf Bay and the restaurants right by the sea here aren’t as crazily priced and if they are you get your moneysworth.
Won’t rush back any time soon! As someone who lives here permanently it would be nice to have a few more choices, a pasta dish for example (vegan Mac or carbonara) and a tomato based one?
Pros: A few vegan options to be fair, Good choice of drinks, Location
Cons: Expensive for what it is, No pasta options , All rice options are spicy!

Decent selection, needs more herbs - Edit
Great location next to the Menai Bridge, lots of outdoor seating and great views from inside. They had vegan pizza, salads, burgers and tacos etc. A good selection. We all had the seitan style chicken burger and seitan vegan chicken in a basket, it was okay. Looked great, could have tasted so much better, it just needed to a have some more herbs and flavouring.

not very impressed - Edit
sry to say.. there are much better options nearby.
Read moreI had the vegan chicken burger. The patty was very boring and almost tasteless. Dry, small bun. Not very creative toppings. Big fries the same. Not a very good taste. Vegan mayo also really lame.
I tried some of the (cheesy) pizza. The dough was also not very rich in flavor. So I will not come back.
