Lots of options

Had the vegan banquet ($57pp), and although there was PLENTY of food and I got to try all the vegan items on the menu, it was overall just ok.
Favourites were the baba ghanouj, Fotr (Really tasty, sliced fresh mushrooms sautéed with garlic, capsicum, mustard seeds, pomegranate reduction and coriander), and Loubieh (French beans cooked in tomatoes, garlic, onions and a hint of curry with saffron rice).
The falafels were sadly not great, nice and crispy on the outside, but quite a soft texture inside.
There was a bellydancer while we were there, which was good fun.

Lots of vegan options

Great food and enough vegan options, including a vegan banquet. Went with non-vegan friends, and there were plenty of dishes that we could share (ie, meat eaters didn’t miss out by choosing some vegan options). In particular we enjoyed the authentic, delicious baba ganoush. Also had tasty hommus to begin, then falafels. Enjoyed the desserts, which had vegan Turkish delight and a sesame based sweet I forget the name of. I love Indian and all Asian cuisine, but it’s nice to have something different in the Eastern suburbs for when you want a change.

Pros: Tasty food, Lots of vegan options

Cons: Pick your night, it’s loud on a Saturday
