Authentic Chinese food - Edit
I'd give 5 stars if I could. I've always wanted to have Chinese food that was not altered for Americans. The big bun is fresh and amazing. They were out of vegan dumplings, little disappointed. Friendly helpful staff.

Delicious! - Edit
The food itself was beyond delicious, with multiple options. Some of the best Chinese food I have ever had, and it seemed more authentic than most americanized restaurants, but as I have never been to China that’s only an assumption. The staff was incredibly kind, and knowledgeable about how to make menu items vegan friendly. They did seem a bit understaffed, which made the wait longer than you would expect but due to the variety and the staff being so kind I didn’t mind. The food was also pretty inexpensive especially for the quality and quantity.

Really good food, knowledgeable staff. - Edit
We went to Dumplings N More which came up when I did a Happy Cow search for Chinese food in San Diego, I was very happy to look at the menu online and in the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and there were a lot of waitpeople there. The vegan dishes on the menu are pretty clearly marked. There were a few plates on the menu I had questions about, which got answered. When we got our food, it was tasty and well-presented. However, a couple of the fillings were exactly the same in the dishes we ordered. I've found this to be an unfortunate problem with a lot of Chinese restaurants which do not completely cater to vegan/vegetarians.
Read moreWhile the food was really good and I would definitely eat there again, the service was very inconsistent. It was clear that the kitchen was overloaded with carry out orders and the food to the tables didn't come out for a long time. The staff didn't even bring out the one cold dish we ordered until much later and we had asked about getting it soon because we sat a long time with a table devoid of food.
Having said all that, I would absolutely go back because the food was really delicious and authentic, and there were so many vegan options. The dumplings were excellent, the cold appetizers were really great and the vegan bao was one of the best I've eaten; the dough wasn't sweet at all and the filling was succulent and interesting.
If you go (and you're very hungry) make sure to order one or two dishes first before putting in your whole order. The staff understands all the vegan options and can be very helpful.
Pros: Lots of vegan choices., Authentic dishes, not modified to Western palates.
Cons: Kitchen can get overwhelmed with orders., Fillings can repeat in different dishes., Looks like a fast food joint but food isn't fast.

Great value, authentic cooking - Edit
Authentic Chinese home-style cooking and street food favorites. Noodles are simple but delicious. Red peppercorns on point. Staff understands what vegan means if you ask. There are vegan wontons which are inexplicably off menu!!
