Great dumplings - Edit
I had a vegan platter and some vegetable dumplings. The vegan platter was ok but not great, some more sauce and flavour would have been nice. The veg dumplings were great, came with soya sauce and optional chili oil for added heat.

Tasty but pricy - Edit
I had the dried vegetable dumplings (10 pieces), the baozi with tofu (3 pieces) and an iced tea for a total of 14,50€/4.500 rupees. After one week in Sri Lanka so far, this has been the most expensive food/order I’ve placed.
Read moreStaff is friendly and place looks nice, so for a one time try it was perfect. Curious about the other vegan dishes, however, since food there is comparatively expensive for Sri Lankan standards, I would probably not come back.

Inexpensive and yummy - Edit
I had the Vegan Bowl which was delicious. The pickled beets and cabbage were delicious as were the fried tofu.

Great Asian Food - Edit
We went here for lunch and it didn't disappoint. I had the vegan bowl which was a good size. My husband wasn't too hungry so we shared tofu bao buns and he had the Mango sticky rice which was really tasty. It's relocated so it's much bigger than the pictures, no air con but lots of fans.

Really really really YUM - Edit
Incredible Asian food in the heart of Galle. We ordered almost all the vegan options and it was so so so good. We will definitely be back. Definitely kind of pricey but worth it.

Trendy cafe with tasty gyoza - Edit
Lovely vegan gyozas and baos. Homemade chilli oil dip is tasty and can buy a jar. Does get busy at lunchtime. Enjoyed it so much we went twice. It s a bit pricier than other restaurants but Galle is very touristy and it's worth it for a change of cuisine

Mediocre dumplings - Edit
I’ve tried many (vegan) dumplings in my life and these were just okay. I ate them with a lot of crispy chili oil for some extra flavour. Quite pricey for what you get, and I find it strange you have to pay service charge when it’s an order-at-the-counter system. Has got a very nice atmosphere however, and friendly staff.

Lovely location offering few veggie options - Edit
Atmosthephere is absolutely astounding, SO beautiful (recently relocated). There are few vegan options to choose from like veggie dumblings, spring rolls, buns... They also have coconut milk so you could enjoy plant-based coffee on request.

Would definitely recommend the location and would come again.

Good for a quick bite. Open until 5 PM - Edit
The chef washed the pan before frying vegan dumplings which was nice. They taste good. Perfect for a quick bite and if you crave some dumplings. Didn’t have vegan milk on that day because they said it was not popular among customers. But the black coffee is good.

Limited but good - Edit
Only veg item available on the menu were the vegetable dumplings, tofu buns are supposedly offered but not sure how often they are in fact available. Vegans make sure that the water is changed to cook the dumplings and that the veg dumplings are not cooked in the same water as the meat ones (which is what happened to me - and they offered to cook a fresh batch immediately). The dumplings are tasty and the chili sauce is very good too.

Pricey, but good - Edit
At 980LKR for 8 dumplings the place certainly isn’t cheap. I found it quite good though and would come back.

Best dumplings - Edit
Normally wouldn’t eat dumplings in Sri Lanka but the shop looked lovely so we tried a half portion but quickly regretted not getting the full portion! Bf was happy to find somewhere that had good coffee with soy too
