Dolce & Vegana

Dulce Tierra was a highlight during my stay at Puerto. The team was enchanting and helpful, and their three plant based pastries (banana cupcake, chocolate cake, peanut butter cookie) happen to be all gluten free. Moreover they are visibly marked. I tried and enjoyed them all. And their chai latte is outstanding!

A few vegan options

I went for the peanut butter cookie, it is 18 pesos now not 10 like in one of pictures. It was ok but a bit dry.

Pros: Nice staff, Nice venue, Couple of options

Good for vegetarians

We had the only two vegan baked goods, which were a pecan tart and a chocolate loaf. Both of them were delicious. My friends had the veggie quiche, which is vegetarian and the vegetarian toast as well. They said they were great. They also have vegan milks for tea and coffee. Specifically oat and coconut milks. Maybe others but I'm not sure.

Pros: Various vegan and vegetarian options, Knowledgeable staff, Delicious

Cons: Could have more vegan savory options

Chocolate loaf is 💯

I’ve spent 8 months in Mexico and I’ve found it very challenging to find good vegan baked goods, so I’m always thrilled when I stumble across some! This cafe has 3 vegan pastry options: banana bread, a chocolate bread / loaf and a peanut butter cookie. The chocolate loaf was AMAZING, not too sweet and perfectly moist. I will be going back a few more times to get it while I’m here! So nice to have an option 💝

Pros: Amazing chocolate bread, Fair price

Cons: Minimal options

Sweet little place

A vegan will be happy here. Wide variety of pastries we can eat and plant milks for our drinks.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, They have soy milk for my matcha latte, Reasonably priced

Cons: None!

A little more than nothing

Vegan choices could be much more (and when we were there, they had run out of most on top of that) and they had some weird early closing of the rooftop. So opening hours don't always apply.

Pros: There are vegan options

Cons: More vegan options please, Please keep in stock what you offer, Little overpriced and opening hours didn't apply

Amazing smoothies

I keep coming back here for the smoothies! They are all possible to make vegan (I'm not sure if the granola has honey). My favourite is the banana and peanut smoothie, super creamy! They also have vegan cookies and cake.

Nothing special for vegans

The menu doesn’t have many vegan options - when I was there, the only vegan baked goods were a peanut butter cookie and banana bread. At least it’s something; it’s better than many other bakeries. There are a lot of lacto-ovo vegetarian options. Drinks can be made with non-dairy milk. There’s a nice rooftop patio. The smelled of fresh baked goods around the bakery is really strong. Sadly vegans can’t eat most of what’s baking.
