Surprising find - Edit
The Chikn Shawarma looked beautiful and I enjoyed it, the chikn was thinly sliced and had a nice almost crispy texture.
Read moreThere were deliciously crisp pita chips throughout that added a lovely crunchy texture.
The saffron rice was very noticeable and ruined it for me. This was my first taste of saffron and I found it very perfume-y and floral.
The chips were nice, although the vegan aioli didn't taste of anything.

Nice fresh food - Edit
There are alot of vegan and vegetarian options. The trio dips, cheese cigars, quinoa tabouli salad and stuffed vine leaves are amazing. The Eggplant chermoula and vegan chicken shawarma tagine are really tasty and moreish! Both desserts are vegetarian and they are really good. The mango kunafa is just next level.

Do yourself a favor - Edit
This place is one of the best in the western suburbs. The food is fresh and tasty. The eggplant chermoula is highly recommended, it melts in your mouth. The wine list is small but includes vegan options. staff are knowledgeable about all sort of diets.

Their menu has a great selection of entrees and mains and dessert and they are vegan. Prices is reasonable. They also have great red wine that is vegan. Eggplant dish and hummus were really nice. The kombucha is also very light and flavoursome.

great experience - Edit
This place is certainly an interesting one. It's a new joint in Spotswood area. The vegan and vegetarian options there are middle eastern inspired and they taste a lot better than many vegan restaurants in Melbourne. The food tastes so good. We were told they prepare all the vegan and vegetarian food separately and they use different benches. The staff (not vegan) but they are quite knowledgeable and nice. They even serve vegan wine and dessert too.

so many options - Edit
i recently went to dukkah with some friends. i was looking for vegetarian and found so many options on the menu. i went for the capsicum dip and shared cheese cigars, vine leaves with my friends. i had the eggplant for main and it was so tasty. the sauce on top really takes the eggplant up a notch. i also tried to kunafa for dessert and it was a winner too. its so good going to a restaurant where i can enjoy just as much food as my friends who aren't vegetarian.

A must try! - Edit
I went to Dukkah about a week ago. Had the tumeric hummus, shawama and kunafa. They were all delicious and I really recommend the shawama, it was full of flavour. There's even vegan wines on the menu too. Will definitely be back.

Family does it best! - Edit
This family owned gem is what South Kingsville needed. The service and staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is for all ages, families, singles or group dinners. Something for everyone.
Read moreWe tried a few dishes which bounced with flavours across the Middle East.
Do not go past the Cheese Cigars....they are deelish and you must order! All meats are flavoursome and very tender. The eggplant dish was a surprise winner which was healthy and very tasty. The Om Ali was a surprise as I’m not a fan of butter bread pudding but this was top notch.
I’ll definitely be going back to try the other dishes.
Pros: Healthy, Flavours, Friendly atmosphere
