Fresh and soft breads

Breads are packed and arranged neatly. Labels indicate whether a bread is vegetarian or vegan, although sometimes the labels don't make sense by looking at the ingredients list. My guess is that there may be hidden ingredients that render what looks vegan actually non vegan or even non vegetarian.

I was near so took a visit. It's so soft and tasty!! I hoped they would have coffee as well, but it's not a sitting and coffee sipping place. 'vegetarian' means vegan(except honey) given that they do distingish between 'vegetarian' and 'lacto or lacto ovo vegetarian'. just ask them cause they are nice.

Pros: several options.

Cons: only takeaway

Great bread choices, good staff

I’ve visited Duke bakery a couple of times in the past and did not realize that they actually had the vegetarian logo indicated next to the ingredients list. This helped me a lot in identifying the vegetarian breads rather than screening through each individual ingredients. Staff is also very helpful when I asked about butter which are also stated clearly as I’m quite intolerant to it. I asked for bread to be sliced for easy consumption and staff helped to have the bread sliced neatly. Very good service. Kudos!

soft, fluffy, has the bread ever!

Im abit of a bread maniac, and whenever I want to get my carb fix Duke will always be my first choice! They sell a decent variety of vegan breads, and my favourite is definitely the Walnut French Loaf. I can literally eat the whole loaf by myself! The chocolate blue mountain coffee bread is AMAZING as well!! Chocolatey with a hint of bitterness from the coffee. Objectively the best breads I've ever had in my life!

Pros: Decent vegan options, Very soft and chewy breads , Healthy options aplenty

Cons: Can be quite pricey

vegan options

A few vegan bread options, my favourite being the chrysanthemum bun. They offer bread cutting service too.

The only thing I don’t like about Duke Bakery is that they’re having more and more non-vegan items.
