Unexpectedly great! - Edit
This is the main vegan option I've seen online, but I couldn't tell if the dinner menu had anything I could eat. I called, and they said there's always a vegetarian option, and the chef will [always, it sounded like] be able to make that or something else vegan. I was skeptical, but I ended up with a stuffed eggplant that was SO GOOD. It also came with a good-sized salad (with the maple balsamic vinagrette--didn't seem like the others were vegan, but it would have been one of my top choices, anyway). Additionally, they had a list of mocktails, NA beers, and a NA champagne on their drink list, which I appreciated. The mock Paloma was great!
Read morePros: The stuffed eggplant! , Decent list of NA drinks that don't feel sad, Friendly, helpful staff
Cons: Hard to get seated--reserve!!!

Excellent Personalized Dishes - Edit
I think the owners took the last reviewer's comments to heart. My wife and I visit all the time and hate the lack of vegan places in the Midwest. We visit Driftless every time we're out. They don't necessarily have vegan options on the menu but if you tell your waiter they will make you a chef special and they've always been to die for!!

Cons: Lack of choices

Not really vegan-friendly. - Edit
This place has been awarded for it's farm-to-table focus and "gourmet" meals. There food is done well, though pricey by local standards. In general, there are no vegan options...unless you consider a regular dinner salad a vegan option. This is not to say that some days there isn't a vegan option, but the last few times I have been there, there has not. Thus, I don't go there anymore.
Read moreWhen I wanted a pizza and ordered it cheese-less, mentioning that I was vegan, I was told I would have to order the large size/more expensive sourdough/thicker pizza crust if I wanted it vegan. More money--and with a pizza that is expensive and very lightly dressed with ingredients, it was a bit plain.
The last time I went there, I just asked if they could please just make me something vegan after they had told me (once again) that there was nothing vegan on the menu except for the side salad.
I was told no.
I ended up with another cheese-less pizza with very few ingredients and a salad.
I am quite disappointed, to be honest.
Pros: Casual, nice atmosphere with lots of wood. , Great dance on the Friday after Thanksgiving., Supports local farmers.
Cons: Expensive., Usually no vegan options on menu., Quite loud.
