Pros and cons

Good range of vegan options, food is tasty and consistent. Best scrambled tofu I’ve ever had. A lovely spot to sit on Porthcressa if you have good weather.

However on multiple occasions the customer service over the last couple of years has been terrible, verging on rude. There are no highchairs and I haven’t found them accommodating since having my son. Very loud if you sit inside.

Pros: Lots of options

Cons: Unwelcoming staff, Expensive

Huge vegan tapas selection

Absolutely loved everything we ate, we tried the sharing board, grub salad bowl, aubergine and 'haloumi' burger, pea hummous and pitta, wedges and garlic mayo, chocolate milkshakes and local beer and absolutely everything was delicious. The falafel is like none I've had before, crispy and melt in the mouth, so good! It's half term but I think it's probably always busy here as it's right by that beach, best to book ahead for dinner (we looked a few weeks before we travelled and it was already fully booked) or arrive early or late for lunch. Worth the wait if you have to wait ☺️ My favourite place on the Scillies

Perfect lunch spot by the beach!

We had lunch here as they were booked up for dinner for the next 4 weeks (book well in advance for dinner). They don't take reservations for lunch and you'll probably have to wait a little for your table but it's worth it. My husband and I shared the vegan mezze board with a few extras and it was delicious! Lots of options to chose from as well as delicious cocktails and vegan milkshakes! Such a great place to spend the afternoon by the beach with wonderful food and great staff!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Healthy options , Friendly staff

Cons: Can be hard to get a table

Tasty tapas style food

We visited Dibble & Grub in September 2020 and were very impressed. They had a great selection of vegan dishes and we opted for the vegan set menu for two. Plenty of food including bread, houmous, olives, quinoa salad, bean stew, caponata and potato wedges (which were particularly tasty). The vegan sundae for dessert was also excellent.

delightful cafe

There is plenty to choose from for the vegetarian and vegan. We got there as the kitchen was closing for the afternoon so had limited options but still, there were ample tapas choices and sandwiches. Food is freshly prepared. Had one of the best gluten free vegan cakes I've ever had! -and there were a few to choose from. Very friendly. A nice place to sit looking out to sea.
Most ingredients used come from Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.

Pros: good, freshly prepared food, ample choice, great cake

Cons: does serve fish and meat dishes

Worth a visit

Nice restaurant with sea-view offering many dishes many of which are freshly made with local produce.
They can prepare you a few vegan dishes by request (these are indicated in the menu).
Overall friendly staff!
Outside it can get quite windy sometimes, but there are many tables inside as well.
Food was tasty and prices were moderate.
Try the locally roasted coffee, it's great!
There is lots of meat and seafood on the menu though.
