Yum! Home made-like - Edit
A down-home and relaxed cafe above the main street with street cars and pedestrians passing below - nice to watch from the window. Great menu of vegetarian options, I loved all the herbs in the Bulgarian yoghurt soup there. Some of it is very healthy, some a veggie comfort food type. I loved the details, like the “multi color salad” having ground Lin-seed in it. The entrance is really hard to find. You go in to a hallway between shops, and open a door on the left side to go up a level in a dark stairway. Kinda sketchy feeling, but the door to Dream House takes you to a yummy and comfortable restaurant. Casual.
Read morePros: Lots of vegan options, A very home-made healthy feel to the food. , Loved the yoghurt soup here.

Simple and tasty - Edit
Nice little place with a smile interior and simple food. We ordered a main meal each and a starter. It was all tasty but non of it mind blowing. Would go back again to try some other options, though as it was a decently sized menu. Delicious home made lemonade.

Okay if you're hungry - Edit
We were there on a Sunday. There's only buffet on Sunday's. My boyfriend liked the food, I found it just okay. Everything very similar (chickpeas, lentils, beans, mostly in salads). Staff was very friendly. The place is a bit hard to find: It's on the first floor.

Delicious vegan options downtown Sofia - Edit
As a traveller I'm quite pleased I stumbled upon this great find. This central restaurant (1st floor of busy street) offers delicious options for the hungry vegan (and vegetarian) and is friendly for the wallet. Colorful, inviting decor and delicious drinks to flush it all away.

Wonderful place to visit - Edit
Staff within the venue were kind and helpful in answering any questions we had about the menu. There is plenty of different food available to suit a range of different palettes and the portion sizes are plentiful especially for the prices.
Read moreThe location is not that easy to notice from the street but it is very close to Vitosha blvd. It's situated on the first floor within a sort of small shopping mall. Once inside however, Dream House offers a comfortable environment and atmosphere.
Pros: Great range of delicious food on the menu, Large portion sizes, Friendly staff
Cons: Not clearly signposted

Simple and inexpensive - Edit
After wondering into a dark enterence way, and up a dingy stairway past the hipsters smoking you'll find the restaurant.
Read moreEnglish speaking with English menu. Service was not great and the wait was a little long, but it was also quite busy when we were in.
We had four dishes: the tofu, the Sichuan potatos, indian cauliflower and chickpea fritters.
Food was simply made, each dish had its own unique flavour but at the same time each also tasted pretty one note in flavour. The potato for example tasted almost exclusively like soy sauce.
Otherwise: Tofu was on the soft side, I prefer firm, but this is a personal preference. Indian cauliflower was under seasoned, and tasted lightly only of turmeric. Chickpea fritters were dry, crumbly and bland.
Overall, the best thing I can say is that the individual dishes are inexpensive. Food isn't bad, it just isn't all that good either.

Hard to Find - Worth the Effort - Edit
Visiting Sofia for the first time, we were very pleasantly surprised to find the Vitosha Boulevard pedestrian mall. Great people watching and food, if one is not vegan. Fortunately, the Dream House is located just off the boulevard (and was close to our hotel) so, once I found it, I got a take-away meal to share with the rest of my group (all non-vegans) at a sidewalk cafe. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was prepared well. The entrance to the place is quite indirect and not well-marked. However, they have a good sign on the front of the building so it is not hard to have faith that one will find it up a set of poorly lit stairs.

tasty ingredients but average flavors - Edit
We went here on 2 occasions and each time they had different specials. The menu is very big with lots of fresh and healthy ingredients. The only downside was the sauces and flavors of the dishes. We would recommend the broccoli soup and lentil soup though- very tasty! The location is very central and the prices are reasonable (5-6BGN for a main).

Good food - Edit
The restaurant has cheap, but still very good vegan foods. My boyfriend and me had some very nice vegan sushi (definetly recommend!), hummus + veggies, soy sprouts + mushrooms + veggies, some kind of dumplings and 2 lovely desserts (chocolate cake and coconut roll). All good food.

Really cute restaurant with good vegan options. I took a dish from weekly menu, it was really good. It is a little bit hard to find, you have to go a floor up, but if you visit Sofia I believe it is worth trying. The waiter was a little bit weird, but tge service was fast.

The way to the stairs leading to the first floor are not that easy to find (behind a door covered in a large banner). But once inside it's a clean cozy place.

Amazingly (cheap) place! Definitely recommend. - Edit
Great food, great variaty of vegan options and a nice waiter. Most of all it was very cheap. No cons, other than that there was very loud noises coming from the street as they were rebuilding it. Nothing to do with Dream house of course :). Keep it going guys!

cheap food - Edit
It’s basic cheap food, I like that there was no added oil, the quinoa and vegetables was nice, the soya and vegetables was a little over cooked. The vegan sausage was tasty, the hummus with vegetables lacked many vegetables and the hummus a little salty. Overall cheap price and relatively good food. It’s hard to find but go into the shopping arcade and into the door on the left, up one flight of stairs and there is the restaurant.

Order the hot foods/main courses, which are so amazing.
But don't order from the other sections of the menu. If you order salads or any of the cold starters, they are very bland, so be warned.
Dream house is a wonderful place to eat, if you know your way around the menu.
Pros: Very cheap, the sunday buffet is amazing
