Not vegan for sure

First off i only went here because I saw great reviews from others on this app. But.... worst place, horrible customer service, I never felt so rushed to leave in my life. Vegitarian orange chicken was soft and gross. Noodles were ok. But overall a no no, never coming here again. If your craving for vegan Asian food trust me.. make the drive to Redlands @ happy family, way worth it.

Cons: Rushed, Small portions, Gross vegitarian meat

Hidden Vegetarian Gem in Moreno Valley

As someone who has frequently eaten at the Dragon House in Riverside, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a Dragon House Restaurant location In Moreno Valley. We we warmly greeted and promptly seated upon entering the restaurant and given menus. When the server approached, we asked if they have a separate vegetarian menu like in Riverside and our regular menus were promptly replaced with vegetarian menus.

After placing our food order (fried wonton appetizer, vegetarian orange chicken for me, vegetarian beef and broccoli and vegetarian lo mein.) As we waited for our food to come out, our server brought us a kettle of tea to drink while we and although I'm not a big tea drinker, after adding some sweet & low, I enjoyed the tea.

The fried wonton appetizer arrived first and although I expected the appetizer to be friend wonton wrappers, I was instead given wontons filled with peas and carrots. The appetizer was well prepared and delicious when paired with sweet & sour sauce or mustard.

Shortly thereafter, the vegetable lo mein, vegetarian beef & broccoli, and vegetarian orange chicken arrived at our table. The lo mein was delicious when paired with the vegetarian beef & broccoli as well as the vegetarian orange chicken.

The vegetarian beef & broccoli was perfectly cooked with crispy broccoli and vegetarian beef in a flavorful sauce. The vegetarian orange chicken was sweet, tender, and crispy.

The vegetarian food at Dragon House was delicious and I'm happy that I no longer have to drive to Riverside when I'm craving Dragon House. I can't wait to return back here with hubby as well as family and friends!

Pros: Separate vegetarian menu

Great place

Be sure to ask for the vegetarian menu! They can make almost any of their regular dishes vegetarian. The food here is delicious. If you're vegan don't order the lunch special. It comes with egg soup and fried rice with egg. I'm sure you can ask for streamed rice instead. I think the "meat" is seitan, so it's vegan unless the sauce contains some animal product. The price is nice too. The vegetarian dishes are the same price as the meat dishes. I've been going here for years and have never had a bad experience.

Always been good for us

We're a vegetarian family, and we've come to Dragon House multiple times. The service and dining area isn't exactly top notch, but we've always been quite happy with the vegetarian options.

Worst restuarant I have been to in my entire life

Worst place ever. These is not a vegetarian restuarant. Taco Bell has more options than this S-hole. The only vegetarian item on the menu is some really awful dish which guess what, "accidentally" had meat in it. I should have read the other review, apparently it's common. Also, what the hell were they talking about? There are no fake meats at this place.
For goodness sake I hope someone reads this review and saves themself the huge waste of time it would be to go there. NOT A VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT. Do yourself a favor and go to Del Taco or something.

Cons: Every single thing ever, I hope this place goes out of business

Did you ask for the separate vegetarian menu? (There's a sign about it at the front)

BE CAREFUL!

I absolutely LOVED this place when I first found it. It was vegetarian heaven. My first bad experience happened one day when I ordered orange vegetarian chicken. No big deal until I found a piece of pork mixed in (stray piece). I shrugged it off as a one time thing. It happened a second time about 2 visits later. A piece of real chicken was in my dish. Both times I told the waitstaff and they didn't seem alarmed. I was still charged for both meals. A few months go by and I decided to give it another try. I ordered the delicious Hot and Sour soup and cashew vegetarian chicken. Absolutely yummy. Got my leftovers home and when I went to the kitchen for a snack, I found a piece of pork in my soup. I think I've had enough with this place. They likely cook the meat and vegetarian dishes on the same surface. If you don't mind picking real meat out of your food, this place is for you. One other complaint is they have a large tank in the restaurant with a couple of fish. The tank would be fine, but it's nasty looking and too small for the Koi.

Pros: Delicious Veg Food, HUGE menu, Reasonable prices

Cons: Meat in Veg Food, So-So Waitstaff, Water tastes weird

I realized a year later that I was mistaken when it came to the soup, it was a mushroom. The other 2 incidences, I am positive that was real meat. I might consider giving this place another try, but I'm not making it a priority to get over there.
