Typical Chinese takeout place - Edit
This is a small Chinese takeout place with a few chairs and tables. Nothing is labeled as vegan, though as with any standard Chinese restaurant you’ll find some vegan items, such as vegetables or tofu…. along with plenty of other than vegan items, such as lamb and other meats.
Read moreI need a quick lunch, so I grabbed some Chinese vegetables for takeout. The food was OK I guess, it’s just that I don’t know what makes this place so special to be listed on HappyCow. Again, as far as I could see, nothing really distinguishes this place from a standard every day Chinese takeout place.

Haha yeah I know, usually at these Chinese takeouts I order the “steamed” veggies which are often also pretty gross because they don’t use a steamer but kind of boil them in a wok. Do you check with them if the sauté sauce is vegan or is it usually vegan by default? No fish sauce or anything like that?

Good vegan options - Edit
Another review stated that the egg rolls and lo mein are vegan, but they contain egg. The spicy string beans are made with oyster sauce but can be made with white sauce instead in order to be vegan. The vegetable mei fun is vegan as well.

Love the spicy green beans. Lo Mein is great also. Quick and affordable! Lots of sauces (like spicy mustard) available.
