Wow what a great experience. The owners of this restaurant are a husband and wife one of whome are vegan so they have a few really good vegan options and are the owners of the Public House in DT Temecula. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in navigating vegan options. I could have easily figured it all out the menu was very on what items were vegan etc.
Read moreWe went in for happy hour snacks and a pint of beer. I was torn on what to get but decided on a carbohydrate fest. Mac-N-Cheeze and the BBQ Fries. The mac was delicious, it had a green chilly and a nice crust on top of some kind of breadcrumbs. The cheese was so creamy and delicious, even as I am writing this I am plotting to get back out there for lunch. The fries in my opinion would have been better without the BBQ seasoning, but my gf wanted to try them, so we did.
Other items include a BBQ Jackfruit Sammy, a Curried acorn squash dish, Beyond burger, Hummus, a curried broccoli, etc. they even offer a vegan dessert!!!!
Service is excellent, they offer an excellent craft beer menu and several specialty cocktails. Totally check them out you will not be disappointed.

Loved their vegan labeled choices. New to area and already have been here three times. Love the brussels, mac and cheese and cocktails. Looking forward to returning soon to try other options. Nice atmosphere too.

I have been wanting to try this spot for awhile now and I’m glad I did. The mac and cheese is really good but I would prefer it without the nuts on top. Next time I will be sure to tell them that. I also liked the salad pieces they put on top of it. I thought it was odd at first but then ate it and It was tangy and yummy. I also ordered the hummus with the cucumber and sourdough bread. That was delicious as well. The only issue we had was when we needed refills, it took a long time to get our drinks. We sat there for a long time before they came back. Otherwise, everything else was good. I will be going back for the mac and cheese. 😊

Downtown Public House was awesome! I was impressed when the hostess asked my party of two if we had any allergies or were vegan. Veg/vegan choices clearly indicated on the menu. Our waiter was good at banter and the service was good. The food was inspired. A new menu item we happened to order was spaghetti squash served in a half squash. Though the sauce was a little spicy for my taste, but it was still good. We liked the place so much, we're taking friends there just two days after first visit.

Rustic industrial chic is the best way I can describe this place. Restaurant is in the historic area of murrieta. Big outdoor patio with a fantastic bar that seats inside and out. Couches line the wall so it’s comfortable and modern. The service is excellent—kudos to Elena and Jacob. The vegan menu is large for a place that isn’t strictly vegan. The impossible burger is amazing. Their acorn squash is crazy good. Their potato wedges and fries are wonderful with a delicious vegan chipotle ketchup and thousand island-ish sauce. The berry crumble desert was a nice finish. Well done—went two days in a row. Five stars for sure.

We started with the curried carrots. I had the vegan meatloaf sammy. My husband had the pumpkin chili. SOOOO FREAKIN GOOD! The service was impeccable. The atmosphere at the tables outside is great. Highly recommended.
