Vegetarian deli cafe inside the Down to Earth store. Choose from the hot foods and salad bar, priced by weight, order at the deli counter for sandwiches, veggie burgers, wraps, burritos, and cold deli salads. A large majority of the food items are labeled "dairy" and some are labeled as "vegan." Has raw food options. Open Mon-Sat 6:00am-6:00pm, Sun 7:00am-6:00pm. The deli closes at 5pm every day.

Fully veg grocery store, tons of delicious vegan food - Edit
This place was such a treat. A fully vegetarian grocery store with plenty of vegan options everywhere. The hot and salad bars are mostly vegan and totally scrumptious. There were many to-go sandwiches and other items you can bring to your hotel just save on overpriced and mediocre vegan options. Will definitely come back!

It was so fun to walk around and explore all their options! Tons of snacks, produce, and freezer items along with a great hot bar and pre-made foods. Grabbed some vegan vanilla cake which was perfect and even some San Diego Tempeh that I have been wanting to try! What a treat!

It was a really nice healthy grocery store with all plant based and/or vegan options. The hot bar food has great options, it has a lot of local Maui brands/food as well.

This is definitely the most vegan friendly store I have EVER been in. Vegan prepared foods, vegan desserts, vegan items at the deli… it’s not gourmet food but it is definitely pretty dang good and filling. Love this place!

Nice grocery store with lots of vegan options including at the deli and hot food bar area. I grabbed a cashew and broccoli soup, half a tofu scramble wrap, and an iced latte. Both the soup and wrap were okay but needed more flavor, I should have grabbed hot sauce and black pepper. The deli also has smoothies available.

I loveddd this place. A vegans dream. Had the earth burger from the hot bar & it was good. Not life changing but good. Also grabbed a vegan banana bread & it was Devine! If only we had something like this near where I live, I’d go here everyday I swear.

What a variety of different foods. Bf and I have been wanting to try bento box but haven’t been able to until we came across this place. We bought those, macadamia-milk coffees, and a few groceries, everything was great. Too bad we don’t have this back home.

This was definitely our favorite place to eat on Maui. We got food from the buffet almost every day. Most of the choices were vegan and there was a lot of variety. Choose your container size and serve yourself. There is seating upstairs and outside. Free wi-fi. Store opens early and closes late.

They had quite a few options here, ranging from açaí bowls to more “real” food. I had a pitaya smoothie bowl which was pretty good. They also had lots of vegan baked goods, I tried the double chocolate chip cookie which was delicious.

We were looking for something right off the plane when we arrived in Maui - the cafe was convenient, we enjoyed a veggie burger (and had a burrito when we went back a couple days later!) and then also bought food off the hot bar (vegan options labeled well) and snacks for our hotel room from the natural foods store. Menu was all-vegetarian I believe, make sure to ask about cheese/other toppings.

I got one of the burgers, I believe it was called the Earth Burger. I got it with daiya and avocado. That was really good, I'd recommend getting that. I didn't get anything from the hot/cold bar but I noticed that they had a good variety. Was not a fan of the smoothie. It wasn't creamy, had a thin consistency and was a little chunky. It was the Kale smoothie. Decently priced, a little bit on the higher side.

Tasty vegan options - Edit
The Deli Cafe here at the Down to Earth grocery store has the benefit of being open longer hours than most other veg places on the island. But that isn't the only reason to go, because fortunately the food is good, too, and there are several vegan options, clearly labeled. I had two different veggie burgers, both of which were tasty and satisfying. Fresh-squeezed juices are also a plus. There's a sit-down dining area upstairs.
