Disappointing amount of vegan options

Even the bread with grilled vegetables has eggs and dairy according tot the allergens list. So no lunch options here.
Coffee has 3 types of plant milk: oat, coconut and almond.
I had a cappuccino with almond milk, it was ok. Staff was a bit meh.

Pros: The space

Cons: No vegan lunch options

Limited options

I found the amount of vegan snacks underwhelming. Only 1 pie option was vegan. And it wasn't mind-blowing yummy. A very generic banana Walnut pie that mostly tastes of sugar. The Chai Latte mix was the most sweet one I have ever had in a cafe, too sweet for my personal taste preference. The glass it came in was pretty though.

Vegan Option Apparently Not Vegan

Not only was our wait extremely long (once we waited 3 hours for a tosti for my boyfriend)
I asked about their vegan “Gegrilde Groenten” (grilled vegetable toast), as I have multiple food intolerances and according to the workers the smashed avocado and hummus have cow milk. Obviously making the dish not vegan. This was my only option available so I asked for them to be taken off, as I am lactose intolerant, within a few hours of eating I got a reaction.

I have already complained to DE head for a review of their menu, needing to take their ‘vegan’ option seriously. super disappointing

Cons: long wait, vegan option not vegan, overpriced

Big supermarket coffee brand

Multiple options. One vegan pastry, multiple kinds of plant milk.

EDIT: now they have banana pie.

Expensive but still nice

I’m on the fence about this one. I love the place itself, how big it is, how relaxed, how “luxurious” for a remote working environment and the amazing opening hours (daily from 8-22). There are many different settings to choose from regarding seating options.
But it’s just quite expensive so not really feasible to go here everyday/stay all day. I haven’t had food here yet, but easily pay 5 euros for a cappuccino with oat milk (a small one that is).

They do offer two types of discount possibilities: a monthly “membership” that gives you 25% discount on everything or a one-time fee to receive a (I believe) 10% discount on everything.

Staff is professional, you order via a QR-code so won’t be bothered all the time while working.

Pros: Opening hours , Location , Seating options

Cons: Expensive

Open till late, Nice place for laptop work

I wanted to do some laptop work in the evenings and this was a nice place to do some work in a very calm, relaxed environment. They are open until 22h! You can scan a QR code to order or order at the bar.

The staff was very accommodating in advising me plantbased drink options.
They can make the coffeespecials with plantbased milk and they have plantbased chocolate milk as well (I think Oatly), also for mocchacino’s. Leave out the whipped cream though😄 decaf is possible too.

Pros: Open until late, Good environment for working , Lots of space

Cons: Not the most personal feel to it , Douwe Egberts is a big brand (support your locals), Location is in the middle of the shopping district
