AMAZING DONUTS - Edit
I really can’t get over how good the donuts are at Dough Joy. The flavour offerings (when I went in, a couple different pumpkin, strawberry milkshake, and poptart, to name a few) were inventive and most importantly, delicious.

Amazing!!! - Edit
I had the cookies and cream donut was lovely the donut itself was so good. I had the Boston cream as well it was good but personally for me was just a little too much filling but was still good. The staff was very polite, they had lots of options which I would have loved to try.

Great - Edit
- pop tart donut - great 8.6/10 - would have liked a more jelly-like filling rather than that filling. It was kinda too thick and not ideal. Also exploded out of the bottom right away.

Very flavorful and unique doughnuts, well-named! - Edit
Yes, these doughnuts inspire joy and the staff were helpful and welcoming. They have some unique flavors that you won't find elsewhere along with some hard to find vegan options --creme-filled and fritters. The doughnuts smell and taste amazing. We tried the manjo-taijín, beautiful glittery pride doughnut, coffee, apple fritter, chocolate creme-filled, and poptart with strawberry filling doughnuts. All delicious.

The best in town - Edit
An absolute donut gem here in Seattle! Amazing for plant-based eaters and just as good for those that consume anything... seriously!
Read moreDough Joy offers donuts, drinks, and a wonderful ambiance. Staff was super friendly and welcoming.
We purchased a coupon online for a donut/drinks special, so definitely look for one before coming here to save! Their old fashioned donuts are amazing as well as their puffy brownie/rainbow ones, fitting for the area.
Their Lavender Chai was also one of the best I've ever had and the extra donut bites thrown in are a wonderful touch.
Let this place bring you joy because it certainly does for me every time I visit Seattle.

Loved the donuts, got the pride one and also tried everything bagel. The only thing I’d want is more filled donuts, like raspberry or strawberry would be incredible!

The best!!! - Edit
The fluffiest doughnuts I’ve ever eaten. Seriously tops any doughnut in Seattle. The flavors are amazing and not too over the top like voodoo. Their specials are always unique and in the best way possible.

5 stars - Inventive and tasty flavors - Edit
The app is bugging out saying I can’t give it 5 stars even though this is an all-vegan shop.
Read moreSince I strongly prefer yeast-raised donuts and their flavors are on point, this place is my new favorite donut shop. Was so excited to get to try it when they opened their food truck in Ballard, and still get excited to try their new inventive (and also the standard!) flavors when I get the chance.
I’m also a sucker for good branding and theirs is beautiful, I’d like to meet the designer and give them kudos!

Excellent all around - Edit
A fully vegan donut coffee shop is excellent in and of itself, but this one has creative flavors and delicious donuts. We enjoyed a latte with blackberry vanilla flavor, along with an apple fritter, twisted cinnamon, and a seasonal special caramel cherry donut. Plus the restroom is cute too.

A place I bring omnis to impress - Edit
I personally do not like donuts or sweet things but I always bring Omni friends here. I’m told these are the best donuts period. My partner loves the cookie butta and everything but the bagel donuts but he likes trying their specials too. This week was peppermint mocha. He said it didn’t taste very much like mocha but he loved the minty-ness.

Photogenic, fun, fluffy donuts! - Edit
I started eating Dough Joy when they only had the food truck and have had their donuts multiple times, though not regularly. Their shop is colorful and bright, and the staff has always been very welcoming. The donuts are also always beautifully presented and all the ones I've eaten have been very fresh. I love that they do yeasted donuts as I much prefer them to cake doughnuts. My favorite donut in general are fritters, so my only critique is just that I think the apple bits in theirs are a bit sparse, and their overall shape have been very smooth, instead of lumpy with a lot of crevices that the glaze can accumulate in. Prices are slightly higher, but typical for Seattle.

very good *raised* donuts - Edit
I just want to walk in a donut shop and know that I'll be able to get a normal raised donut, and Dough Joy delivers on that! Variety of flavors alongside the basics, including filled donuts. Mighty-O was the only game in town for a while and they are not that great. So happy to have this alternative.

Won’t let me rate it 5 stars for some reason but it was a 5 star trip. So cute with about 15 different types of donuts. Got the strawberry frosted, Boston cream, and raspberry jelly. They were all delicious!

Vegan Nut Joy Dough - Edit
Vegan owned and operated small local bakeshop with three outlets in Seattle. On Capitol Hill find their big clean outpost with pretty purple and pink themed storefront with a counter to wolf down your brilliant bright breakfast breads with better coffee than the rest of the city.

Donuts, Friendly Staff & Cute Shop - Edit
I finally convinced my boyfriend to drive to Seattle to try Dough Joy, and it was worth the adventure. The shop is adorable, and the staff that helped us was very friendly. We ordered six donuts (strawberry milkshake, apple fritters, cookies & cream, sour watermelon, strawberry filled, and caramel glazed twist). We also ordered a chai, a mocha and tasted their donut holes. The drinks were tasty and a warm treat on a cold morning. The donuts were above average and relatively fluffy but definitely on the sweeter side. They were also expensive but large, so they could easily be shared. The sour watermelon (which was a special) was surprisingly sour and very unique. The others were more aligned flavor-wise with what I expected.

Amazing fluffy delicious donuts - Edit
We went midday on a Friday, and they'd had a busy morning, so the selection was a bit limited, but we still had several options to choose from. We went with cookies and cream and bavarian cream. Both were incredible. We also had a really good soy latte that came with a cinnamon donut hole on top. The people working there were super nice and friendly and welcoming to our dog. This was our first time in a Dough Joy location, although we had tried their donuts at their Valentine's Day tasting event at Pine Lake Cellars, so we knew we loved their donuts. We thought the Dough Joy shop was super cute and felt so fun and playful. We'll be back to try more flavors! And thank you for being dog-friendly!
