Lovely Lunch - Edit
We’ve visited a few times for coffee and cake - always delicious. Today we had lunch in the Hof Café and it was incredible. We had the special - creamy polenta with roasted squash Romesco sauce and crispy cavolo nero. It looked beautiful and the flavours were out of this world. Hope to see it added to the main menu. There were a couple of good vegan cake options, oat milk for coffee and a few vegan meal options. The supermarket is fantastic too. Massive range of vegan goodies and lovely fruit and veggies. #Veganuary

Hofladen mit großer Auswahl. - Edit
Hier gibt es wirklich viele tolle Vegane Produkte, die ich bisher noch nirgends anders fand. Frisches Obst und Gemüse vom eigenen Hof oder von so nah wie möglich. Leider natürlich auch Milchprodukte und Fleisch im Verkauf. Wenn man rein geht, muss man erst mal den Atem anhalten und durch die Metzger Abteilung durch. Horror !

Organic superfarm! - Edit
DHL is situated in the heart of one of Germanys largest organic demeter farms. They even have scientists working on improving the wheat quality (in favor for the consumer ;-) ) With own first class bakery, Café, butchery, egg, milk and cheese production and a fully equipped supermarket.

They are a little short on superfoods, but apart from that, you will get anything you want.
The problem for vegans might be the Demeter-concept of the farm, which especially relies on cattle as essential part of the farming circle.
The calves are separated from their mother cows and kept in those white plastic boxes in the yard, often watched and found cute by families.

Compassionate organic farming - Edit
This farm and its organic shop is always worth a visit. The farmers share a huge love for nature, plants and animals and want to make the world a better place. The Dottenfelderhof is a great place to visit with children to show them where their food can come from. They also sell some of their products at the weekly market at Frankfurt Konstablerwache.
