Serves meat, vegan options available. South Indian food truck selling dosas and curries - ask which dishes are vegan. Take-out only. Open Mon 11:00am-9:00pm, Wed-Fri 11:00am-9:00pm, Sat-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.
Despite asking and discussing vegan and pure vegetarian options, and being assured they could, I was still provided a dish that included animal products. Dosa Hut cooks most dishes with butter. It appears animal products are unavoidable. Unfortunately, I paid first and only realized their promises of an cruelty-free dinner were false after taking the to-go dish and opening it at the park. Had to throw the whole thing away. A huge waste and disappointment. Do not go here if you are vegan.
We asked what options were vegan. The person taking orders was not sure and had to ask. First they told us one item that contained dairy but fixed before we paid. The food was delicious. My seven-year-old LOVED it.
This was such a nice treat when the rest of the options were way overcrowded, overpriced and had a vegan after thought option. We had aloo tikki chaat (careful of dairy), chana masala, samosas and enjoyed their table set up. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are visiting the area!
