Serves meat, vegan options available. Dec 2014 re-opened here after move from 1 Victoria Rd. Indian food restaurant once vegetarian but switched to adding meat. At lunch the prices are inexpensive, and you could get a vegetable curry with either dosa, rice, or naan. Dinner menu prices are moderate has several vegetarian suitable dishes. Uses dairy so ask if vegan. Reported closed, Feb 2018.

As lovely as ever! - Edit
Just been to Dosa for the first time in ages and it's even better than before with more choices, especially good for us vegans!
Read moreI heard the proprietor talking to a family who had never eaten there before and she talked to them about the origin of the food and told them if they don't like a dish to send it back and they would make them something else.
Wonderful staff who can't do enough for you. They are introducing a new street menu next week which I can't wait to try.
The masala dosa is to die for!
Pros: Wonderful food tailored to your request, Lovely staff, Very inexpensive

Great food and staff - Edit
We went for lunch, just the two of us and had a delicious meal of vegetable curry and nann bread. Exceedingly reasonable in price and the staff were most helpful. Not our first time and certainly not our last.

fantastic cheap food - Edit
Me and my meat eating boyfriend both love this place we live locally and go for lunch regularly. In Middlesbrough choice of vegan food is pretty limited and this place is really accomodating they have lists up behind the counter for the staff who might not know what is and what isn't vegan and gluten free. You can see them cooking so know its all kept seperate etc. Lunch is simple vegetarian curry which is always vegan with dosa, rice or nan and a drink for £3.99 get the dosa they yum! On an evening they have 3 veggie curries which are usually all vegan but always have at least one vegan (and 3 meat) then you can choose accompniments such as dosas idils etc which are nearly all vegan with 1-3 curries. I suppose menu a little complicated but just ask and the tatse is so worth it. The 3 curries are south indian and change daily so not your usually curry house stuff things like fry's and manchurians. Flavours are excellent and you can even buy spice powders already made up. It's a totaly haven in a very limted Teesside and my meat eater boyf absolutely loves it too.
