I saw a worker SCRATCHING HIS BUTTS inside his pants, and started cutting vegetables with same hands, WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS. I wish i could have taken video of it.
Bad thing was i already had my dinner with no salt in uttapam and when I complained the lady, she started arguing.
Worst day of my life.
I suggest people never to go this place, else one might find a [censored] HAIR in your sambhar some day.
An all vegetarian spot with inexpensive Dosas that are unrivaled in more upscale locations. I’ve been coming here for many years. The only thing that’s changed is the now electronic check out.
My roommate is Indian and he recommended this place (there are several within a 5 mile radius of our house). He said they make the best dosas around. He was right. I got the mysore masala dosa and the vegetable masala dosa. Both were very good. The samosas are excellent as well. Very inexpensive. I got all three dishes which came with sauces and sambar for $16. WAY more than enough for one person. I had to force myself to eat both samosas and half of each dosa. I'll have the other halves tomorrow for lunch. Just one dosa should be plenty for the average human. I wanted something with chickpeas but they didn't have anything. Vegan options are pretty much anything without butter or cheese.
When you order your food they give you a ticket stub with a number on it then someone calls out the number over the intercom when your food is ready. This is true if you're eating in or taking out.
