Excellent - Edit
Wandering down Ben Yehuda one afternoon I fortunately decided to stop at the Dosa Bar for paneer and rice. So glad I did. The dish was fresh and delicious. The waiter patiently explained all. Seating is on the sidewalk facing the vibrant street life.

1) It's kosher. 2) It is vegan. 3) It is an unpretentious little place. 4) The food is not the same old same old. 5) The service was friendly. And most importantly 6) The food was good. We will definitely be back.

We love this place - Edit
We eat at Dosa Bar once every two or three weeks. The food is delicious though inexpensive, and the service excellent. You can ask for any dish spicy or not. I virtually always have the green dosa (dosa filled with cooked chard and, in season, pumpkin, with a small lentil soup); Fred generally has the masala dosa. We often enjoy their kulfi for dessert.

Bad Food and Worst Service - PLEASE AVOID - Edit
Ordered Masala Dosa and the food was not at all tasty and far from being Authentic Indian food. Adding to that they forcefully added the service tax (Tip) on the bill which should be completely voluntary, and after i requested with the waiter to correct it they just ignored me and behaved very disrespectfully. Very bad experience overall.

Dosas done right! - Edit
There is not a bad or boring dish on this menu! I had the Lakshmi Thalia with the most perfect sambar, hubby had purple dosa, Indian friend had green dosa. Both Doda dishes came with appropriately colored soups, the colors coming from the vegetables used. Moderately priced, the place was full of patrons of all stripes both inside and out. Only negative was that they might run out of something. Tonight it was the kulfi. This place will be one of my go-to often restaurants in the new vegan capital of the world, Tel Aviv!

Completely tasteless - Edit
I triple checked, I was at this restaurant and I guess the cook has changed. None of our dishes had any taste. No spice was added to any of them and the one that tasted a little bit like something was definitely not inspired by Indian cuisine. Complete waste of money.

Lovely piece of India in Tel Aviv - Edit
100% vegan place. The basic Thali is extremely tasty and simple. The other Thali options are also a fantastic choice.

Every single dish contains coconut cream or coconut oil. I am not allergic or something, just I don't eat coconuts. We've been party of 4 and I had to go and seek food somewhere else.

Pros: Nothing

It's Indian food. If it isn't loaded with cream, butter or paneer it has coconut. Just a fact in any Indian restaurant you go to.

Very rude service - Edit
The food is delicious, I had a very good dosa and a delicious dessert. However, I can’t give this place 5 stars because the service was very unfriendly, even rude. Maybe the waitress was having a bad day.
