great vegan menu del dia - Edit
Me sirvieron un menu del dia 100% vegano, económico y muy rico. La atención del camarero fue muy buena también. Hasta a mi amigo no vegano le gustó. Recomendado!

Pretty good food here, and open Sunday - Edit
I went here on a Sunday for lunch because it was the only place I could find that was open on Sunday. In June 2014 the lunch costs 6.000 pesos. They served soup, a plate with 5 items, juice, yogurt dessert. The food was pretty good here. The neighborhood isn't dangerous, but isn't very pretty either. It's safe during the day at least, and this place is only open for lunch anyways. The nearest Mio station is San Pascual... it's about 3 blocks away. Definitely recommended for Sunday lunch, and if you happen to be staying in this area.

Dona Maria is my new savior! - Edit
Its really great to find somewhere that doesn't serve disgusting vegetarian food and doesn't think that the solution to making something vegetarian is drenching it in cheese.A very nice change from having to order pizza , patatoes and pasta all the time.
Read moreLocated right near el Mio.
Lunches come with an option of soy milk or whatever juice they have that day. Soup , White or Brown Rice , and whatever their serving for lunch. They make very different food every day always delicious but also tend to make vegetarian versions of traditional colombian like their sancocho which is great for any vegetarian colombian who misses it! Pay on your way out usually 5-6 mil pesos. When you go to pay you'll usually find an array of other foods you can take to go like veggie lasagna , empanadas , lentil burgers , dona maria's sausage and ham.
Pros: Inexpensive, Wholesome meals, Yummy
Cons: Only open for lunch
