Un peu déçu pour le prix - Edit
Le drink que j’ai pris était vraiment mauvais, à 11$ j’aurais espérer mieux. J’ai ensuite pris les ravioli et franchement j’ai déjà manger vraiment mieux, l’intérieur n’est pas du tout crémeux comme devrait être un “ricotta”, ensuite la sauce était vraiment ordinaire, une autre option aurait été appréciée comme une sauce rosée. De plus les portions étaient petites, on avait encore faim après. Les desserts étaient bon par contre. Finalement, une explication des plats auraient été apprécié, il fallait tout demander au serveur c’est un peu embêtant.

Loved everything about the restaurant. Drinks, appetizers, main dish and dessert. We had the pad Thai and Annette’s stew. Both delicious ! Had the artichoke and spinach dip nachos and finished our meal with the Poor Man’s pudding. Delicious ! Our server was awesome. Nice little restaurant. We will be back.

Went a few times there for brunch and dinner and can say it’s one of the best restaurants I’ve been. The food is delicious. We had the bolognese, pasta and gnocchi and they were SUPERB.

This restaurant is AMAZING. The servers are wonderful and the food is incomparable. The restaurant specializes in pasta, so we got the agnolotti and mushroom fettuccine. The smaller serving size was perfect for us, and the presentation was gorgeous.

Read moreNous avons partagé une entrée et deux plats (au petit format, soit format entrée) et la quantité était suffisante pour deux personnes :
• DONplings, dumplings aux protéines de soya et légumes (15$)
• Agnollotis, pâtes fraîches avec une farce cajou/épinards et une sauce au vin blanc (17$)
• Gnocchis crémeux, sauce cajou (15$)
Tout était délicieux mais gros coup de cœur pour les agnollotis qui sont super originaux et vraiment vraiment bons. Nos trois plats sont venus accompagnés de belles salades avec une excellente vinaigrette.
La carte est relativement courte mais il y a une belle diversité - plats asiatiques, européens, et spécialités que je connaissais pas! Petit moins pour les desserts (seulement 3 options) que je trouve un peu classiques et dispendieux.
En bref, excellent restaurant pour un date, un beau souper avec sa famille, un anniversaire, ou n'importe quelle occasion ! ❤️🐇

had a delicious meal here, reserving a table was easy and the decor is fun! had a delicious meal, the dumplings were great and we enjoyed our mains. the poor man's pudding was a highlight, like a sticky toffee pudding with maple syrup! the service was also outstanding throughout. more fine dining prices but backed up levels of service and quality / portion size of the food. would recommend!

We were delighted to find this fully vegan restaurant in Quebec City. The gnocchi and ravioli entrees as well as the chocolate cake were all delicious and beautifully presented. Our server Pierre Michel provided outstanding service and was also very friendly and personable. 😊

We loved this restaurant, and found all of the items we ordered to be very nicely prepared. We had gnocchi, two-squash risotto, dumplings, meatballs with sunflower paste. Service from Jade was exceptional, and she was very helpful in answering all of our questions about Quebecois culture and language.
Read moreWe went back a couple of days later for their lunch ($22 CAD) special, where you get a choice of 1) soup or salad, 2) a burger/risotto/pasta/stir-fry, and 3) coffee. It was excellent. Another server we had (Clarisse, on the receipt) was super friendly and talked to us for a while. Several servers were covering all the tables as a team, and they were all great.
We will probably go back a third time for brunch the day we depart. Extra points to them for offering a complete full service vegan restaurant in an area that is otherwise not very vegan friendly.

I had dinner here while in Quebec City for work. I’m definitely a vegan foody and have had the good fortune to eat in some of the best vegan restaurants in the world. I ordered the artichoke dip and gnocchi. Both were good but not great. The artichoke dip was made with cashews that hadn’t been soaked so the texture was gritty rather than creamy. It was also served with tortilla chips rather than the traditional bread or crostini- a very odd choice that made it come off a cheep bar food. The sauce on the gnocchi was pretty tasteless but the tofu bacon was good, which saved it. Unfortunately there was only a few pieces of the bacon sprinkled on top so it came off bland. Overall Don Vegan is more at a beer garden level than the gastro pub it is trying to be. It’s too bad - I hate giving vegan restaurants a mediocre review.

We enjoyed the lunch special: choice of Carrot Soup or Summer Salad to start. The Carrot Soup was good, but the Summer Salad blew us away with its mix of fruit and beets!
Read moreFor entrees, we had the Sausage Risotto and Tofu Noodles Stir Fry. The risotto was the star of the show - full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The stir fry had good tofu, but the noodles were a bit overcooked and bland, so I added some hot sauce.
On vacation mode, I treated myself to a La Doñarita margarita. Tasty, but I wish the glass was bigger!
Dessert was a delightful upgrade from the standard brownie to the Warm Chocolate Cake and Maple Vanilla Pudding Bar. Both were incredible and not overly sweet, with the pudding bar being our favorite!
The service was friendly and helpful, making for a wonderful dining experience in a fun setting. Highly recommend this spot in Old Quebec City!
