Serves meat, vegan options available. A bakery and cafe that sells made to order salads, including vegan choices. Please ask which baked goods are vegan. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-10:00pm.
Came out here to try to buy something (anything!) before our flight, and there wasn’t a single thing in there we could eat. Visited around lunchtime and there were only pre-packaged salads and all included animal products. And the salesperson said we couldn’t make our own. Definitely no vegan baked options according to the salesperson as well.
This is a bakery chain. As far as we know, they don't have anything vegan there, except for the packaged salad for 100 pesos ($6). We went to 2 locations today. Everything has animal product in it. The French bread that does not have eggs, milk, or honey, actually has beef fat instead! Watch out for "grasa vacuna" or "grasa bovina", because that's beef fat!!
Once there was a huge range of salad ingredients.. - Edit
When I was in El Calafate in late 2014 I added this place to happycow because of their amazing salad bar. I went in a couple of days ago however, and there were only five ingredients available. Lettuce, tomato, corn, onion and grated carrot. I still bought the salad, it was still delicious, but I was thoroughly disappointed that there huge range of options was gone! I hope to see a review for them in the future that says they have brought it back. Maybe it's too early in the season or something :)

Found a vegan salad - Edit
Found a vegan salad with garbanzo beans, tomatos, leafy greans, cabbage and shredded carrots. It was fresh, satisfying and not to expensive.
